To answer your initial question, though: no, I am not lying. A lie is a false statement with the intent to decieve: I haven't been intentionally deceiving anyone. -

I am Fadran: Highmaster Arcane Mage, Enclave Knight, Traveling Merchant, Iconan Channelknight, Macrosmostic Traveler, and the future Leader of the Hegomony of the world. I'm just not crazy enough to try and put that all in my profile name. -

I am all of those things. -

AH!! I'VE BEEN SUMMONED! Hmm? My background? I was a Mage, and then I was a soldier, then I was a merchant, and then I was a Channelknight, and I'm still technically all of those things, but I'm also a Macrosmos Traveler and, eventually (hopefully) the Leader of the Hegomony of the World. -

"We always need a DJ." -
Fadran nods. "I... thought I knew what loss felt like. Back in the day, I was a Battalion leader in the Silverclad Enclave with this other guy. We led our troops against a demon force, expecting to come out on top... in the end, only he, I, and a few badly-wounded survivors made it out alive. That's when I left the Enclave and became a merchant... that's also when I taught myself how to Spiritcall. "One day, when I was exploring some caves in southern Feylore, I stumbled upon a shrine dedicated to the Prime Deity of the Iconar Collective: Icona. Turns out the god himself was dormant here. Long story short, I woke him up, and he kind of became a constant voice in my head. At first it was really annoying, but before long, we were friends. We saved the world together a couple of times, explored the Omniverse and eventually the Macrosmos... then I stumbled into you guys. "Back at the Universe Hexagon, when I was dueling Jaxevist... or, rather, when Jaxevist was beating the rust out of me, you're the one who gave me your power, but you almost died in doing so. I couldn't leave you there to die, but I don't have enough Health or Divinity to save anyone that close to death. So..." His voice catches. "I guess my question is... when Journey died... how did you feel?"

"I'm glad you think so. Here: let me show you around." The older fellow, who introduced himself to be named Mr. Sia, began showing Ella the various Secrets of the library. "That we do!" Channelknight Fadran replies. "What did you have in mind?" -

"Just check the first post for some open positions." Fadran replies. "We have several open Level 1 positions." -
Fadran thinks for a second, then nods. "Alright. You want to be a part of the group? I can help you with that." He stands up, leading Kyl to the circle of Fellowship members sitting around a fire. "Everyone," he says, "this is Kyl. She (she, right?) is the newest member of our group. You may be hesitant about letting her join because she tried to kill Herate, but a lot of us joined this trying to kill someone or the other, so..."

"Hmm?" The worker looks up from their Raid: Shadow Legends game. "Oh! Uh... The Nerd Game Store is down the hall, up the stairs, right next to the Rave Room. You'll recognize it by the massive poster of Xanathar hanging out front. Staff lodging is on the third floor, behind the Ballroom." -

“Certainly. The all-you-can-eat Breakfast Buffet has culinary options for every diet; including vermin pie. Tina can give you a room.”
