"If I do, then I don't remember why."

"I thought we were done with the rain..." Ellis pulled out the umbrella, propping it up over the two of them.

Ellis looked over at Q, silently questioning her if they should make her stop eating so much sugar. @Mystic Syn

"Ooo...kay." Ellis took it, carefully taking a bite and almost gagging from the sheer quantity of sugar. "You had better brush your teeth super well after breakfast, okay?"

"Good. I was worried there for a second."

"Alrighty then."

"Let's just go with that," Ellis agreed. "Though... I don't think 'Q' is your given name."

"How's about you call me 'honey' from now on?"

"All you gotta do is read the label."

"Go die in whatever way seems best for you," - Denethor.

Pal, I do have a worldhopper, and if I'm ever posting another chapter on that thread, it won't be for awhile.

Comparing fantasy works is a different process than comparing regular fiction, my friend. You can't pit Harry Potter against Stormlight Archive without a great deal of ambiguity.

Hey guys! It's me! Fadran! As a Brando Sando fando, it would go against my very nature to not create a connected universe for all my works of writing. Most of you folks have checked out my sort-of novel "The Iconar Collective," and so it might be cool for you to know that these short stories take place in the same universe! The Beorin Collective is another series of planets and stuff in the Omniverse, and while at first I had no clue what to do with it, after designing a magic system and some other fun stuff, I decided that it'd be fun to make literally EVERY short story I write from here on out take place in it. This decision was a recent one, so I only have one work to share with you guys. It's called "The Shadowcaster," and I submitted it to Scholastic Art and Writing and got myself an entire scudding participation award. The word limit was 3000, so if the plot seems kinda tight, then... well, now you know why! Here it is. I personally don't like it very much, but it's jam-packed with lore: @Chasmgoat @Vapor

"What's... what is..." Ellis gestured at the nutella, incedulous. "What is this???"

"'Course I can!" Fadran replied, summoning his Channeblade.

Fadran frowned, walking over. "What?" "Fehn and I need someone to beat the crap out of. Care to help us out?" "Uhh... sure?"

"Hey Fadran!" She called. "Come on over here, hon, okay?"

"Destroying your... personality? How's about no." Ayia looked around, then grinned mischeviously.

"That's what we're training for." Ayia pulled out one of her staffs. "The only problem is we need an opponent who won't just instantly die..."
