  1. "WHERE IS SHE? WHAT'D YOU DO TO HER?" Wendy didn't struggle against the guards, but stared Caden full in the face with a glare that could've churned butter. "I'm not answering anything until you tell me where Arabella is."
  2. "There's a chain of command, I guess. At the moment, though, we aren't making any drastic decisions, so everybody's just kinda..." Ayia waved vaguely. "Doing their own thing?"
  3. "Strangle someone with breath? Sounds like an oxymoron." Ayia patted her on the head, ruffling her hair. "I could teach you a few things. In fact, now that I think about it, I should probably show everyone here a few things..." "Yep. All eyebrows are still attached."
  4. "I don't know how you lasted so long without Linecasting." Ayia did her best to unwind the rope around her arm, eventually settling with holding out her arm for Camelia to take it back.
  5. "Yikes. Looks like you got pretty banged up. You're lucky I wasn't actively trying to attack you."
  6. "Yeah you shouldn't have." Ayia stood up and picked her staff out of the air. "Does this mean I won, or did you want to keep going?"
  7. Ayia, unsure if she could avoid this attack naturally, opted to simply drop onto the ground.
  8. Ayia let the momentum carry her, letting go of the staff and zipping through the air. She dropped her right elbow to the ground and slid, scraping away at the only thing she had in the way of sleeves: a tight, linen-like length of cloth that extended from upper wrist to just below her bicep. At a glance, it didn't look like it would offer any protection to such friction, but when she slid to a stop, the mini-sleeve (as she liked to call it) was still intact. From there, she pushed herself to her feet, brandishing her second staff.
  9. Ayia pivoted around the pole, then swung down to kick Camelia in the chest with both legs, careful to keep her right arm free.
  10. Ayia leaped backwards, tossing a few throwing daggers just for fun. She doubted any of them would hit. Hopefully. "Stabilization! It's how I do this:" she held out one of her staffs in the air and Stabilized it, swinging around in a complete overhead one-eighty. She held on with one hand and balanced perfectly upright, biceps straining to hold up an entire human.
  11. "You took one of my friends. I want to get her back."
