  1. Janice yelped and guarded her face, grunting as she took a hit to the shoulder. No. No she did not.
  2. "Alright." Janice warily put up her fists.
  3. "O--okay." Janice hopped out of her seat. "I'm not very... good at it. Like... at all." I'll help you out, Trace spoke to her mind. Give you a few pointers. I don't want your help, Janice countered. Too bad. You're gonna get it anyways.
  4. "I can't tell you what she was thinking. Maybe she wasn't thinking at all then."
  5. "Move everyone to a different location."
  6. "Because she needs my help to fight the Queen. She's... more like an ally than a friend, I guess you could say."
  7. “Not my friend and not anymore. She escaped her to help us.” Janice shrugged. “And you don’t need visible corruption to be captured. Just one touch would provide be enough.”
  8. "A creature that's been corrupted by qhoral. Most people don't know why it happens, but Vespyr and I do. The Qhoral Queen and her servants can control you to an extent if you have any qhoral corruption whatsoever. That's why Trace could control you, but only for a moment."
  9. "You mean you grew up on the streets too?" Janice perked up.
  10. "...The... demon... creatures?" Janice was skeptical. "Are you joking? Do you really not know what a yevon is?"
  11. Janice swallowed. "No, I'm... really, really sorry. I know what I did was wrong. I know I hurt you; I always hurt people. I was being... stupid and... selfish." She sighed. "And I wasn't the one that tried to control your mind. That was a yevon." Not that I'm not a yevon, but I'm certainly less of one than Trace.
  12. "I wanted to apologize for being mean."
  13. Janice looked up, tapping her feet impatiently. "Corwin?"
  14. "She just wants to fight back." Wendy shrugged. "I'm not sure if she has a long-term plan."
  15. "Quiet espionage, highway robbery, hiding in plain sight... they aren't remarkably combative."
  16. Janice pushed her way through the duels, spotting Corwin as he dueled someone else. It seemed like he could be losing, but all her attacks kept sliding off for some reason. Well... patience would probably be best here anyways. She sat down on a nearby bench and waited for them to finish.
  17. "Kay. Thanks." Janice stepped down and made her way into the arena. She just hoped that he wouldn't run away at the first sight of her.
  18. "Several dozen. All armed." Wendy figured she probably could've lied here, but there wasn't any point in risking that. "But they're good at seeming like they're more or less."
  19. "If that's your plan," Wendy replied, "to wait for Robin to come save us, then that's fine by me."
  20. "If you or the Raveness or anyone lays a finger on her," Wendy said, "then nothing you can ever do to me will make me talk."
  21. Currently, I am looking at a completely blank document titled "The Fellowship of the Thing."

Yeah, that's right. I'm giving it a book.

I'm giving a scudding roleplay a scudding book.

    Should I continue?

@Spren of Kindness depends on the version of lore.

@Channelknight Fadran Earendil is part of the army and thus counts, and Morgoth is still alive.

Earendil was kinda unofficial but whatevs, and I never said Morgoth was dead; I just said that he was fallen.

But you felt the need to mention that Nienna was alive.

  22. Janice approached the front desk, standing on her tiptoes to see a bit higher over it. "Hey, uhm... I'm looking for Corwin?" @ProfetessaOscura
  23. Janice stood up and led Shidala back into the Academy.
