    Fadran was more than aware of how to have proper fun. But nowadays it left him sore in the morning, and frankly he was quite ready for life to be a bit boring for a change.

    That actually did make her chuckle. Just a little. She hid it with a cough. "Cute. Anything else, Lattie?"

    Goop-stained garbage began crashing about everywhere, striking around at the assailants and swinging away against the black substance trying to overtake it. Gargling howls emanated from monster itself in primal rage, punctuating each strike and movement. Fadran - quite tired - took a seat by the pom-pom-waving child.

    "Winning what?"

    "Okay, Parlat. Any reason you decided to come bother me specifically?" Aolicei ignored his hand.

    "That sounds like a terrible idea!"

    It hit him in the face with an arm made of chairs. Fadran winced. "Oh."

    She rolled her eyes and sighed. "I'm Aolicei. You can call me that."

    Kaeni poked her head over the cliffside. "Get up here already!"

    Irritated, the goop monster spat Obsidian back out. "See?" Fadran gesured at Obsidian. "He's fine!"

    Kaeni took out her own after a stuttering hesitation, bringing the string to her cheek and aiming it out. Loosing the arrow proved useless, however, as both projectiles again grew more and more sluggish the closer they drew to the wyvern. Before long it had appeared that the two of them had stopped completely, hovering in midair. "Is it some kinda... force field?"

    "Seemed like it. Walk up to some lone lady and ask if she has a boyfriend. You're lucky I don't keep pepper oil on me."

    "I guess you wouldn't know. Never been a girl, have you?"

    "Stop asking silly questions, get out of my bubble, don't try to rape me or my nonexistent boyfriend, and keep your voice down, dammit."

    "I'll let you know later, if you're good."

    "I suppose. And not everyone dresses in modern fashions anyways. It's just best not to stick out."

    "Sounds nice. Now what the bellchoppers do you want from me?"

    "You don't give the coin before the corn. You first, creepo."

    "You really don't have any kinda boundaries, do you?"

    "Wouldn't you like to know." Aolicei turned back to her plate.
