  1. Skybreaker for the first choice, and also a close option for the order I would join. Szeth and Nale are two of my favourite characters. They're sense of justice, how they follow their codes, I feel as if i have a similar moral compass as to those of the Skybreakers and would fit in. I had to say Elsecallers as the order that I would join though. Pursuit of knowledge has always been an extremely important thing to me, plus the couple of quizzes I've taken that assign you an order have always put Elsecaller as the first option even if they may not be the most accurate.
  2. I believe Wit/Hoid brings up a compelling argument about Dalinar. In WOR When Dalinar asks if he is a tyrant, Wit replies with "Do not Sorrow, It is an era for Tyrants. I doubt this place is ready for anything more, and a benevolent tyrant is preferable to the disaster of weak rule. Perhaps in another place and time, I'd have denounced you with spit and bile. Here, today, I praise you as what this world needs." And while it may not be in direct connection with the incident at Rathalas I think it is a worthy thing to consider here, and have seen others touch on the idea in this thread. The world needs Dalinar. In a different place, in a different time, Dalinar's punishment/redemption may very well have been much different then what we see take place due to the context of world events.
  3. Blind hatred of a character has never been something I agree with. In Moash's case, I have mixed feelings personally. I understand his desire, his need to go after Elhokar and to seek vengeance. The main thing I find issue with in Moash's character is his "respect" towards Kaladin. Kaladin is his direct superior and they both considered themselves to be friends. In WOR Moash directly disobeys an order from Kal and continues meeting with Graves for the assassination attempt of Elhokar. That, to me, demonstrates that he doesn't truly respect his captain's wishes. Even worse, not only did he not stop meeting with them, but he kept trying to convince Kaladin what he was doing was the right thing. It doesn't sit well with me. This is something I think is done really well with Moash that I can relate to a bit. Giving everything up, completely folding in the hope that you'll truly get what you want, I find this to be a really interesting dynamic and am looking forward to seeing where it goes in future books with Moash/Vyre.
