  1. And because she cut her finger with the blade.
  2. Nameless glanced warily at Nightblood. "Are you sure that we should bring him? Isn't he dangerous?"
  3. Because they were frozen in time by the giant sorcerer chicken.
  4. He checked his pocket and realized that it was rotten, moldy, and broken.
  5. Nameless perked up. "I can get you to TST." He drew Shar, cutting a hole in the fabric of space-time. "Here you go:"
  6. Vapid got pecked in the spleen by a giant chicken.
  7. Nameless ran into the hen house after Melody, catching her shoulder. "I should have mentioned, the giant chickens don't approve of people taking their wheat. In fact, they have rather stringent laws for anyone who attempts to steal it. They don't sell their wheat either."
  8. Nameless frowned. "If we're going to make a giant donut, then we need giants eggs. Unless you want to make a sub-par donut."
  9. Nameless gasped. He had just been godmodded! He hadn't been godmodded since... ever!
  10. Good friends are like chocolate. Awesome.
  11. Nameless drifted, resting. he slept, for a time, regaining his strength and trying to figure out why he had become tired so quickly. Then he realized that the tiredness he felt was one he had felt for a long time. The Sword had held it off, kept it from debilitating him, but it had been there for so long that he had forgotten it was there. It was the exhaustion of doing the same thing over and over, in different forms. Well, he was free now. Somewhere in the world, a space puppy was born.
  12. Nameless looked at the surrounding people. No, not people, narrators. It had been a long time since he had seen so many gathered in one place like this. "Hi, I'm-" something wasn't quite right. He tried again "Hi, I'm Nameless. Does anyone here know what happened to Nameless? Did he go on a quest? Is he on vacation? is he miss-" Nameless cut off as he saw Nameless' body.
  13. Nameless turned his head between Schrodinger and Regnidorhcs, confused.
  14. Suddenly, the tip of a sword appeared. It slashed downwards, opening a rift. Out of the rift walked Nameless, with his Sword in hand. He blinked and held up a hand to shield his eyes from the sun.
  15. "Then I guess this is where we part ways." Nameless looked around. "This place isn't so bad. I think I can be happy here. For now at least." he gave X a sideways look. "I didn't use that silly sword of yours, no matter what you say about it." Nameless closed his eyes, concentrating. "There we go. I've had some experience here, in the past. It's been good working with you, even if you do godmod me far too much. I'll see you around, I guess" Nameless faded, then whisked away on the wind. Nameless walked into his house. Nalmin's school had shut down, not enough narration to keep it going. He sighed. Maybe TLT would be better, even if... no, TLT was too... hectic. TST might flicker in and out of reality sometimes, but it was far more stable than TLT. When you made plot here, it either died quickly, or ran it's course. It wasn't co-opted by a thousand other narrators. He sat down on his couch, narrating a cup of coffee into his hand. Then he saw the letters. Floating in the air, they were simple and to the point: " need you" Nameless gasped, standing up straight and backing away from the words. Trembling, he reached out, not believing or knowing what he would find until he touched the hilt of a Sword, not present and yet present. He yanked his hand back, lowering it to his side, only to feel The Sword's hilt there too. He froze, then looked down, seeing Shar at his waist, faintly translucent. There and yet not there. From what Nameless had told him, if he refused to wield The Sword, it would find a new wielder. One better than him. nameless looked at Shar. "Why would he choose me?" The words were out of his mouth before he even thought them. "I'm- I'm no warrior. I'm- I- I can't do this, I'm not a- not a- hero. not like him." Nameless knew what he should do. He should let The Sword go, let it choose a proper owner. And yet... Nameless has chosen him. His grip grew firm on The Sword. He summoned Shar for the first time, and cut a hole between realms.
  16. I need someone to post on TST. I'm not planning on leaving TLT alone though, don't worry.
  17. Okay, but this is still a dream. We should continue this in TST. Also... I have something planned, and I don't want to double post.
  18. Nameless walked over to X. "She's gone then? All right. I guess we'll continue this in the land of dreams, then. You start narrating there, I'm going to... make sure that Melody doesn't come back." He looked at X, and though his posture was normal, his eyes were tired. More tired than X had ever seen them. This is my way of saying you need to post on TST first, I've got the last post there.
  19. The demons pulled back. Nameless dismissed his Narrationblade, then slumped forward, hands on his knees. So tired. He didn't know how long he had fought for. Should he be this tired? He turned to look at Melody, and was happy to see X helping her to her feet. he straightened, and walked over to them, refusing to show any more outward signs of his exhaustion.
  20. "Seriously, stop. Half of the stuff you are making me do I would have done myself, and the other half I would never do." Nameless continued fighting demons. It had been a long time since he had used his Narrationblade in combat, but if anything his time with Shar had only made him more proficient with it. No demon could get close to him with their claws, and they all seemed to be... slower, somehow. Ah, I'm just remembering my fight with Y. She's the last person who's challenged me in a honest duel since... since ever.
  21. Nameless glared at X. "That's it. Stop it right now, or else these demons will be the least you have to worry about. If you intend to change the rules, you can tell me. Don't force me to act as I wouldn't." He summoned his Narrationblade. He had died before, and he was still a narrator then. This was no different.
  22. Nameless scowled at X. "Can you please not godmod me? I wouldn't have tried to summon Shar, he's busy, and I wanted to use this instead." He tossed aside the sword made of light and summoned his Narrationblade, chopping through the demons like warm butter.
  23. "I mean, minor godmodding, but okay." Nameless rolled his eyes. "Have you tried asking her how she is? Hey @Condensation, are you okay? How are you feeling?"
  24. "Well, I have been meaning to go on vacation in TST..." Nameless summoned his Narrationblade, cutting the final thread connecting him to life.
