  1. "Gotcha." The paramedics wheeled Darryl off to surgery. The next morning, a nurse came into the waiting room to inform Rhapsody that Darryl was awake.
  2. "G.U.H., Ghanderflaffles United Hospital."
  3. "We've got a waiting room. Ah, here we are. GUH."
  4. "Well, after the surgery, he'll have a room in the trauma wing. He should make a quick recovery, once we get the enchanted glass out of him."
  5. "Don't worry, we've got plenty of doctors and nurses there to care for the patients. Plus, your sisters will be there as well."
  6. "We'll put her in the magical trauma bay with all the cursed princesses. Don't worry, she'll be very comfortable. We always seem to have plenty of funding for that section of the hospital."
  7. "Probably not. It'll just be more complicated."
  8. "Well, that's too bad. We'll have to requisition an enchanted scalpel."
  9. "Ah. Well, do you have any idea how to deactivate his armor?"
  10. "So, how was Darryl injured?"
  11. "Well, I have a few questions for you." The paramedic pulled out a clipboard.
  12. The ambulances drove off and arrived at the hospital.
  13. The paramedic sighed. "Sure, as long as you don't get in the way of anyone."
  14. "Well, I guess that's okay."
  15. The paramedics glanced over at Symphony. "Well, we still have to run some tests. She seems to be glowing, which is generally not considered healthy."
  16. Meanwhile, the paramedics were placing medley in an ambulance as well.
  17. Hey @Ookla the Purplexed, can I change my vote?
  18. "I'm fine, really! Besides, there's a paramedic now!" A bunch of doctors picked Darryl up and put him in the ambulance.
  19. "No, that's a bad idea. You want to leave the glass in. It stops most of the bleeding, and taking it out might cause internal damage."
  20. "Because I'm wearing armor that is enchanted to be indestructible. Apparently the explosion shorted out the enchantment."
  21. "Ah, I'm fine." Darryl coughed up blood. "Maybe."
  22. Darryl looked up at her. "Oh yeah, I'm totally fine. Just slowly bleeding out because I have a foot long shard of glass lodged in my stomach."
  23. I don't have an opinion I feel like Moash might be set up for redemption, but every Stormlight book has been so different from the others, that I can't tell.
  24. Okay. So where does he show anger?
  25. That's not how it works. Mistings who get shot by aluminum bullets don't get their power drained from them, so why are you assuming that the Radiant's stormlight would be drained? Alright, here's my current understanding: Winner is based on four things: Equipment, skill, oath level, and situation. If a Mistborn is given unlimited Atium, a hemalurgic minigun loaded with aluminum spikes, Nightblood, and the bands of mourning, they are gonna win. If we match Vin up against The Lopen, Vin's gonna win. (On the other hand, if we match Taln up against Vin, he could probably kill her with a toothpick). Fourth oath is a huge step up from third oath, which is in turn a huge step up from second oath. Situation is, as has been brought up, of utmost importance. So, all other things being equal, Mistborn with Atium has a huge advantadge over most orders of Radiant of the third ideal, an advantage over fourth ideal, and is unknown versus Radiants of the fifth ideal. Without Atium Mistborn are evenly matched with most third ideal Radiants, winner generally depends on the Knight Radiant's order. Fourth ideal, advantage goes to the Radiants, but the result still depends on the order. Fifth ideal, we have no idea.
