  1. “Okay. The invitation’s there, if you change your mind.” “Relocate? But we have all the invitations fine-tuned to transport the invitees here. We’d have to give everyone new invitations. Isn’t there something you can do?”
  2. Nameless gulped. “Good chickens. Nice chickens. Please don’t eat me chickens.”
  3. "A bad guy. Been around for a while. Spirit of evil and decay."
  4. "Um, who is that? Never mind. Watch your eyes. Don't want to get sparks in them." Nameless hacksawed the bars off.
  5. "Oh thank goodness you're here." someone else gestured towards the Darkbeast. "It's eating a whole in reality. It'll ruin the party to have a hole like that. Could you help me get rid of it?" "Hm? Oh, that." Nameless mimed a stabbing motion. "Some people have a plan to kill the Witherlord. I'm not sure it'll work, but it seems like it has a decent chance of doing so, and I figured it'd be fun to watch regardless, so I set up a party where we can watch it all go down."
  6. “Oh come on, he’s not a complete stranger. I know his name.” Nameless held out his hand. “I’m Nameless, by the way. And Professor? I don’t think the Knight will be there. He’s probably going to be involved in the plan.”
  7. Someone else surreptitiously picked up the list of invitations, looking for a specific name. the Knight’s invitation made a dinging noise and spoke in a rhythmic voice. “Your presence is requested.” Nameless waved at him. “Hi. Would you like to come to my party?” He handed him an invitation.
  8. "Yes," someone else lied. "They're made of delicious Mahogany. Straight from Mahoganyland. Highest quality Mahogany in the entire thread."
  9. You know what? I have another solution: 'advanced interrogation techniques'. No hogman's going to last long under torture. I'll bet I can get all four of those guys to confess. On a more serious note, if you look at the question as it is stated, then, from a modern USA standpoint, the answer is clear: you can't convict them of anything. The evidence is extremely flimsy, coming from one dying man who could have been delirious (As I'm sure the lawyers will point out). Even if he'd said that all the hogmen had worked together to kill him, if that's all the evidence there is, then it's not enough to convict anyone on. However, if you look at what the question represents, it's the question of how many innocents you are willing to sacrifice in exchange for seeing justice done. What do you do if you know that you will convict some who are innocent. This question is why we have innocent until proven guilty. Because we try to minimize the innocents harmed or killed by the very justice system that is supposed to protect them.
  10. On the planets thing, I think Brandon is going to keep it to just a few planets, on the whole. The other planets will probably just have a few short stories or side projects about them. Like the SP's. I doubt that the characters or magic from any of the SPs are going to play any kind of major role in basically anything else in the Cosmere. As for history, while I do kinda agree with you on the pre ascension, pre desolation will probably be adressed in the back half of SA.
  11. Someone else was quite distressed. "Please, I need that for the party. Could you perhaps eat one of the chairs instead? We have a lot of chairs."
  12. I'm of the mind that either aluminum acts as a dump for investiture in that you put identity in and it dissipates or something, or that aluminum can be invested, but that investiture has no effect on it.
  13. Aluminum can't be a god metal, because god metals cannot be soulcast, and aluminum can be.
  14. "Of course. Yes. I can see that." Nameless pulled out a hacksaw. "This should get through it. stand away from the bars."
  15. Someone else stared in horror. "Nameless invited you? Why?" he pulled out a watch. "The party doesn't start for a while yet. Could you maybe... wait until then?"
  16. I wouldn't take the chance, but that's fair.
  17. I don't think that's necessary. If you make a judgement, the guilt will fall on you. And executing only three of the hogmen with religious justification will likely lead to more guilt if you let a guilty man free and he makes a deathbed confession."
  18. Someone else hummed happily, preparing the food for Nameless' party. He was just putting the finishing touches on the ice cream bar when the Darkbeast appeared. He eyed it warily. "Hello there. You seem to be lost."
  19. "You expect me to believe that you're actually blind? I'll admit that I've considered the idea. Your outfit doesn't exactly seem like something someone would wear if they could see it."
  20. "Fine. I can always ask the Knight, I suppose. Not sure if he'd answer though."
  21. "You don't need allomancy to see that I constantly have a medallion strapped to my arm!"
  22. "Oh come on! Does no one use their eyes anymore?"
