    So it would. If it was intelligent, F-gold would probably do something like taking CO2 and turning it back into oxygen, but we have no reason to think it would.

    Moni cursed as the flames shot up and devoured another batch of cookies. "Rusts, who thought hooking a dragon up to an oven was a good idea?"

    We don't know the Stormlight to F-gold conversion rate, and F-gold might be less efficient in processes that the human body doesn't naturally do, such as creating oxygen atoms to replenish those used in cell respiration.

    "Well I have. And I don't need your advice. I know perfectly well that you're supposed to check them. This oven is just a little different from the kind I'm used to cooking on." Moni looked at the gigantic dragon fire powered oven made out of mithril and adamant. "Just a little."

    Moni pulled some burnt cookies out of the oven, sighing slightly, and started another batch.

    Moni shrugged and kept making a batch of cookies.

    Cadmium doesn't stop a bullet. That's not its job. Its job is to keep you from needing to breathe. The only person we've seen using gold for that purpose is the guy that was constantly compounding it, so it stands to reason that it takes more than very little gold to do so.

    Nameless opened a miniature gateway to block the ball send it around the room and back towards Wizard's goal.

    "That's one way to look at it." Moni stood up abruptly, turning her back on the sunset. "Do you happen to have a kitchen?"

    "Fine with me." Nameless picked up the ball, placing a few inverted weaves on it, then served.

    Nameless subtly prepared a weave of balefire to hit Wizard's defenders with. "You want to serve first?"

    Nameless channeled absently, spinning the rods on his side so fast that the players looked like solid circles. "I was trying to avoid channeling, I think. wait until Rand cleansed the source. It just takes so long, you know?"

    Moni grimaced. "Nameless is trying to give me a good backdrop for 'character development'." "They will always have the potential to return, in some form or other."

    "You do that." Moni resumed staring off at the conveniently beautiful sunset.

    "Except for Jim here, of course." Nameless pointed to an empty spot of shadow under the Foosball table. "I know he's a Myrddraal, but he's trustworthy, I promise."

    "Oh, and that make it so much different. Look," Moni took a deep breath. "I thank you, but no. I do not want to feel the pain of being stabbed by Mordite in the shoulder. I've had quite enough pain in my life already."
