  1. "I... could probably make that work. What would we do with it then?"
  2. We don't know that spanreeds are instant. Could be speed of light, and even if it isn't, there's still the issue of getting Investiture offworld.
  3. The group disappeared, appearing at said location.
  4. Nameless waved to Samanth. "I can transport us by Narration. Where do you want to go?" Lard nodded. "Alright. So, Varnah says that the Door used to be on a planet called 'Rondur' but a Narrator stole it at some point after they used it. He says it's in some place called 'the hall' where Narrators used to use it as convenient transport."
  5. Lard shrugged. "I don't think so. I just happened to have 655 brothers, and meet a guy called survivor #655. Coincidences happen. Anyways, this mission will be extremely dangerous. after the human pyramid incident, my remaining four hundred and seventy-seven living brothers all went into the underworld to save my dead brothers, and they all died there, so we'll need to be very careful. Alex says to watch out for zombie bites, and Ashi says that even if we get past the zombies, we'll never get past Death's Incarnation."
  6. "Yep. He's got 655 brothers, and they all died." Moni turned towards Lard. "You do know how to get to the underworld, right?" Lard nodded. "Yeah. Varnah says that all you have to do is enter the door of impossibility."
  7. "He hasn't really had the best experiences with Narrators in the past."
  8. Nameless shrugged. "Sure. I'll help. What do you need me to do?" Moni smiled weakly. "He uh, doesn't like Narrators much."
  9. "I don't know. A bunch of Narrators have done that in the past, and he's sensitive about it."
  10. "Yep. Should be fun, hopefully. Oh, and please don't turn 655 into dust. He doesn't like Narrators doing that to him."
  11. Moni waved at him. "Hi! I'm Moniker, avatar of Nameless. The survey's X, and the other two people are Lard, the one with black hair and red eyes, and 655. We're going to the underworld to save Lard's brothers."
  12. Moni blinked. "I think it worked!" She wrote something else on the survey. The voice sounded again. "Great! If you want to adventure, can you come meet us? We're just outside Habbledorf city."
  13. "Didn't we do this before? Hang on, let me try something." Moni pulled out her pen and wrote on the survey A faint voice sounded near Gravel. "Hi. Would you like to come on an adventure with us?" @Zephrun's Imperium
  14. Nameless snapped his fingers. "So that's what I was missing. Vent chickens!" He teleported all of Darles Chickens into his vent world.
  15. "It's actually a lot of vents. They're all connected to each other."
  16. "These ferrets do. I'll make them soulless so that the butterflies can't kill them."
  17. "So, do you think I should put anything else in the vents, or just a bunch of soul-eating butterflies?"
  18. "But the vegetation's all highly poisonous. I guess I could make the butterflies eat the souls of living things, which would allow them to safely eat the mushrooms."
  19. Moni shrugged. "We can ask him, I guess. X, do you know how Narrators do the long-distance contact thing?" "Butterflies? Why would butterflies live in vents? What would they even eat?"
  20. "So how do you know you won't like Granite? He's nice, from what I hear. And he doesn't seem to be doing anything."
  21. "Hm. Lemme try that." Nameless quickly altered the Physics Codex of his new world, then did a quick runthrough to make sure it worked well. "Great! That did the trick. Now, what kind of creatures should I put in the vents? Insects? Horrifying sludge monsters? Carnivorous beasts?" Nameless sighed, then grabbed the recording out of the air and focused, examining its every detail in an attempt to ascertain it's location of origin,
  22. "Alright, fine. Although, X is a Narrator, and you don't complain about him."
  23. Nameless sighed. "You need to get it somewhere very safe. In fact, we need to get it to the consultants. They can probably keep it safe, and they definitely know how to use it better than you."
