  1. "Okay. if you're certain, I'll continue." Nameless sat down in front of Wynn, drawing in saidin and summoning a small flame above his palm. "I was born after the events of the series. The taint was cleansed, the Dark One defeated. I went to the Black Tower to train, which was a much nicer place by that time, and at first things went well. It turned out I had a talent for gateways, although my talent for them seemed... different. There was another man in the tower with a talent for making gateways, and even though should have been too weak in the Power to make them, he could make them larger than all but the most powerful Asha'man, and faster than any channeler I've ever met. I shared that speed, but not his ability to make gateways larger than his ability in the Power should have allowed. At the time, I figured that my talent was just different from his. My training proceeded well, and for a while I was content to ignore that difference. Eventually, after I became a full Asha'man, I started to wonder. I couldn't make abnormally large gateways, but I realized that I could travel to places I knew well from anywhere, even if I didn't know the area. Something that's supposed to be impossible. Every channeler I've met besides myself has to know an area well before they can travel from it, no matter what their location was. Anyways, I figured out that I can make gateways that go further than other people. I can make gateways into space, between planets. I even figured out how to travel into the World of Dreams with a gateway without anyone else's help. In the end, it was my own stupidity that got the best of me. I wanted to see if I could make a gateway outside of the Pattern, so I grabbed an angreal, went to a place I knew really well, and tried it. To my own misfortune, I managed to make a gateway to the void between worlds. I went through it and got lost in the nothingness for a while before eventually coming out on Earth." Nameless paused, thinking. "Yeah, I think that's about it."
  2. "Oh, I don't think she's dead exactly." Unintelligible coughed, clearly trying to hold in a laugh. "And the reason we're going after Subversion is because she killed Valiant, remember? We have to take vengeance on her for killing a guy who only wanted to live a nice, happy life."
  3. "Ah. Well, just so you know, my story does have some spoilers for those books, so, you know, fair warning."
  4. "All right. Well, I guess my story starts when I first learned that I could use the power. You're familiar with the taint on saidin and the madness that resulted from using it?"
  5. Nameless sighed. “Fine. I can tell you in detail, if you want. It’s a bit of a long story.”
  6. “I’m sure Eof could do it, but I don’t think we should rely on his help. And I don’t think we need it either.” Unintelligible pointed at a distant plume of smoke rising over the Ghanderflaffle empire.
  7. “I made a gateway.”
  8. “Wheel of Time? Written by Robert Jordan and finished by Brandon Sanderson? I’m from that universe.”
  9. "Fourth wall?" Nameless chuckled. "Don't you know that books are real life? The Stormlight Archives, Mistborn, Wheel of Time, they're all stories about people that actually exist, out there in the multiverse. We're going to one of them."
  10. Nameless' eyes snapped open, focusing on the stranger. "Ah. Good. I'm still the protagonist."
  11. Nameless grabbed the man, drawing in as much of the power as he dared and pressing healing weaves into him. Upon finishing, he promptly collapsed, unconscious and bleeding.
  12. "No. unfreeze that guy. I get the feeling that he might know how to use those artifacts better than the god that was controlling him. Maybe one of them can help us."
  13. "Nope. Healing only works on other people."
  14. "What? Yeah, I'm... fine. Just, ow. Getting stabbed hurts."
  15. Nameless immediately dropped to his knees, the power fleeing him as he gasped in pain. "Th-thanks, Tors. I don't think I could've beaten him without your help." Nameless looked up, wincing. "Does he need healing immediately, or can it wait a few minutes?"
  16. Unintelligible looked around. "Have things calmed down now? Because I think I know where Subversion is."
  17. Nameless drew in saidin again and stabbed Tors forward, pulling a trick from Sicarius' book and opening a gateway to bridge the distance between them.
  18. "Oh please. You think I'm getting weaker? I'm just getting started." Nameless reached out and grabbed Tors.
  19. That's never a good sign. "So, you're some kind of god? What do you want with TAAron? You already destroyed his universe. Why do you want to kill him too?"
  20. Unintelligible really wanted the vengeance plot to get back on track, so he stepped into the cognitive realm and punched Philip in the face. "Come on man, we need to kill that evil Narrator lady before she keeps killing people!"
  21. Nameless forced himself to stand. "Yeah."
  22. Unintelligible burped. “Sorry, but I had to take drastic measures. That much root would’ve killed us in just a few more seconds.”
  23. Unintelligible winced, but realized that unless he did something quick, they'd all drown in the root fountain. So he drank all the root. Unintelligible consumed every drop of root in the entire earth.
  24. Nameless tried to dodge out of the way of the post, but it was moving too fast and hit him in the shoulder. The sharp pain broke through the void, and Nameless' hold on saidin shattered as he fell to his knees, eyes watering in pain. Wynn, Haly, I hope one of you has a few tricks up your sleeve. @Ookla the Obstinate @Ookla the BlowUpperOfStuff
