  1. Definitely fifth heightening Awakener. Immortality is awesome. The other abilities would be cool, but I'd probably get myself killed using them (with the exception of an Elantrian), and I could still die of cancer or other illnesses no matter what I picked.
  2. You know how to calculate the strength of that "continuous pull of the same strength"? mass times velocity squared divided by the radius. Which is exactly what I did. Do you disagree with my numbers? What numbers would you use?
  3. You are not burning all of the metal in your stomach at once, yet leeching still gets rid of all of it.
  4. My second favorite is probably Dalinar, but it's close between him, Shallan, and Adolin.
  5. Why wouldn't they be burning/tapping them?
  6. Doesn't matter how little rotation it was (and she cleared the whole courtyard, so it was probably more than just a few degrees), she'd still have to survive that force. And the onlookers were on the edge and outside of the square, while the koloss clumped at the middle to attack Vin. Beyond that, after reading Vin's headbutt scene, I have to say that it was not the headbutt that knocked her out. She was already injured, and Pewter was all that was keeping her on her feet. She'd gotten hit by a coin and was about to pass out even with pewter when being strangled. After she was knocked out, no one mentioned her having a concussion, or a cracked skull. Just cracked ribs. When she woke up, her side hurt and neck ached (because she'd been strangled) but her head? nothing. It wasn't the headbutt, it was running out of the pewter that was the only thing keeping her going.
  7. "Follow me." The Finn walked directly into the shadows.
  8. “No. Killing you will take too much time, and you will damage the Pattern in your fighting. You must come quickly, and begone from this world as soon as possible.”
  9. A Finn approached the group, looking at Haly curiously. “Do you wish to follow me or not?”
  10. Nameless let out a sigh of relief. “Alright. Good.” Turning to the shadows, he shouted in a loud voice. “That’s just a taste of her powers! Unless you take us to the Chamber now, you’ll have a much bigger problem on your hands.”
  11. Many thanks. 1423
  12. "Uh, Haly? I think that's enough fire." Indeed, the Finn were scrambling away, disappearing into the shadows that still lingered at the corners of the room.
  13. I gave a potential radius. Do you disagree with it?
  14. The Finn stumbled back, eyes going wide as fire blossomed to life in front of them. Nameless grabbed TAAron and pulled him away from the flames. "Good, Haly. That should make them think twice about killing us."
  15. "If you don't make a large fire now the Finn will kill us all!" The Finn were now clearly visible in the light of the torches, dozens of the surrounding the group, weapons gleaming.
  16. No, they are strongly attached to that person. And Chromium only drains active investiture:
  17. "Don't listen to him. More fire."
  18. Doesn't have to be a complete circle, for it to be comparable to being "tethered to her by a chain" She has to pull on it with that much force. Otherwise, Sazed would not have described it that way.
  19. Nameless dashed over and patted the flame out, grabbing the stick off the floor. "more fire Haly."
  20. Maybe not, but considering that using spheres of Stormlight would take unreasonable amounts, if awakened Blade is just a tenth as invested as a spren breaths are considerably more invested than spheres. And leeching can drain breaths well.
  21. "Pulling herself to the side, swinging the gate to the side as if it were tethered to her by a chain." She moved to the side, then pulled on the gate. Result? Circular motion.
  22. "Good. make a fire, right now." The Finn moved closer, barely visible in the darkness.
  23. It is on the same level of Investiture as a Shardblade.
  24. Centripetal force is in a straight line, towards the center of the circle. Vin pulled the gate in a straight line, then moved to the side and pulled in a straight line, causing it to curve.
