Good job almost got me. So if the only source of money comes from what people are willing to give you and you can't get any more for yourself, but you use it non-stop for clothes and other things how are they not out, or at least, how are things like the chain and painting so expensive yet talked about by the spren as if cheap?

Depends on Kal's connection, if my personal theory is true then Dalinar's connection is but a spark compared to the star that Kaladin holds.

What hurts Kaladin more, the fact that his situation is so bad? or the fact that people he loves will still die? Mistborn SH So Dalinar being bonded to Stormfather is not a problem.

I wouldn't count that as difficult I would count that as suicidal. That doesn't make it worthless, is electricity worthless just because we have a virtual endless supply of it(we are not getting into a discussion on the production, from a consumers standpoint there is endless) Yet the more you have the more you can do with it, stormlight isn't just money it is power, life. Iron is everywhere but it's so useful that it's occurrence is irrelevant. Honor's is unstable and unpredictable even if you could find it there is no guarantee that it will remain open long enough to get through retrieve stormlight and return.

Maybe but that kind of leaves Syl as a constant. If a new relationship develops and I think it will, then it will be Kal's fallback.

Because you can use Stormlight for your own luxury, or to change your apearence like Syl mentions there are a multitude of reasons why. Except in the physical Spren become almost mindless without a bond, I suppose the Horneaters could do it for them but that means whoever controller the Perpendicularity controls everything.

I've given such things thought but Syl is the one the reader has spent most time with so that will hurt the most.

Destroying the Stormfather was only avoided because Odium feared a Cultivation retribution destroying Syl would be way easier and probably less risky.

So everyone having money is better for you even if they have a lot, they could get everything on their own at any time, but they come to you because buying from you is easier, this is true at all times, if they have more money they will buy more stuff and a greater variety of stuff.

Anything Spren buy is for luxury they don't need food to live or anything like that.

Spren are Cognitive Shadows they're halfway to dead already. Any kill should end them. As to a back five unless we have confirmation on a death for Kal any time is possible

No different than opening day at the market just a few centuries ago, everyone had as much food as they we're going to get and you had to make do. And If gems couldn't be re-filled in CR how do you propose Items are sold at such stupid rates, It's been 2,000 years since the Radiance last frequented CR, the gems would be so valuable that one chip would buy the painting.

You'll note I said The Beyond is past Shardaic influence. Or potentially He could get a power up via Cultivation, Surgebinding is not the only source of power.

They have perfect gems so I don't see waiting as a problem, and it takes the same amount of Stormlight to manifest so I don't see the impact.

Proceed at your own risk. Kaladin's arc is based around how everyone close to him dies, he must take the death of someone extremely close to him and accept it. There is no one closer than Syl. This is compounded by his admition that he needs to be there for the living not the dead, so unfortunately Syl must die irreversibly and totally, sent to the Beyond dead. I can't see a way around it and that terrifies me, but I see nobody else close enough to Kal to maximize the feels.

I can't even hate villans that easily like even Vyre I don't hate. This is one of the few things I will give to J.K. Rowling Umbridge is hateable, even if I don't have anywhere near the level of hate for her others do.

I should have said using Stormlight as currency is like using electricity, it can acplish things and is used doing it, the system let's it out, yes new stuff comes in but it leaves at the same rate there is only so much in circulation. Of course they're cheap if you charge too much for clothes spren will just find their own beads and manifest them themselves.

Only Stormlight has functional uses as well, but I see your point and direct you to pricing, a chain was a thousands broams of Stormlight a painting 300 so you can see the effect you describe.
