Actually I think there was some sort of religious pancake holiday mentioned in Edgedancer...gosh I can't remember either.

Another thing I just realized: there don't seem to be any big holidays on Roshar. Brandon Sanderson is so great at world building but I wonder if he excluded holidays on purpose? What with the desolations and all... It would be cool to see what they would celebrate, or maybe even holidays varying by country (not counting, of course, the creepy processions in Kholinar during bk. 3) What do yall think?

So I was just thinking recently... if there are rainspren, anticipationspren, hungerspren--basically, spren for any strong feeling/sensation/natural occurrence, why aren't there awkwardspren? I can think of so many scenarios where awkwardspren could have made an appearance

Yall are so friendly I see I have a lot to learn with this inside joke of "cookies" Hmm, my favorite books are probably Elantris (such a classic) and the Stormlight Archive (can't wait for book 4!!!) I really like Raoden and Kaladin because both have such a strong sense of the value of life; they both take terrible situations and give all they have to create something better.
