    Darn it, I feel short. I’m 16, but I’m still only at 5’ 9”, and I’ve only got a couple of inches left in me. If I can just make it to six foot, all of my life goals will be achieved.

    Crackpot theory created at 12:48 last night: Fainlife is what killed Adonalsium. I don’t know how, but it somehow broke him up into 16 pieces. Somewhere along the way, because of using it to much, Hoid was infected. He managed to control it, and for some reason it granted him immortality. That’s why his hair is white now, and it fits with the WoB stating that parts of the weapon used to kill Adonalsium grants Hoid immortality.

    Preservation likes to preserve things. Shortly after Scadrial was created, he looked for other things to preserve and stumbled upon Roshar. Seeing as highstorms are the opposite of preserving things, he created a splinter/avatar/spren of Preservation to keep things from changing too much. Naturally, the Sibling was associated with something unchanging, stone. Eventually Preservation left Roshar to return to Scadrial. But there’s still a piece of him left on Roshar. Guess there’s a little more Ruin in Sazed than we thought The Ones Above and Clod.

    You could also use zinc to riot their emotions like compassion, sympathy, etc. while using brass to dampen their anger, frustration, and impatience, thereby receiving virtually no punishment!
