  1. “Thanks.” Ed had hurt himself. Jenny felt awful. This was her fault. The earplugs helped a little, preventing noise from escalating the headache, at least. She shut her eyes to try and block out the light, but that just removed all sensations but her pain, so she opened them again.
  2. “Head.” Jenny’s eyes were beginning to fill with tears. Saying anything more than single words made everything hurt more, so she didn’t bother. She was permitted to grab Edgar’s hand, however, so she did, squeezing it hard.
  3. Jenny whispered back. ”Hurts.” Demigod bodies were so fragile. The girl couldn’t handle a mere headache. She still needed to be at least somewhat functional, however, so she was finally allowed to acknowledge the pain in her head.
  4. Hod! Come here a minute. I need your help with something.
  5. She nodded, still silent. ”What do you mean?” Each word sent a stab of pain through Jenny’s head, although she wasn’t aware enough to notice it.
  6. Throughout the entirety of their conversation, Jenny stood stiffly and silently. She didn’t make eye contact with anyone, and her breathing was strangely regular. She provided no reaction when Lucid noted that Aaron had been spying on them. @Weaver of Lights @Wierdo @Scars of Hathsin
  7. Jenny whispered back. ”I’m pretty sure Aaron and Roy have somehow secretly teamed up to be as annoying as physically possible.” She was careful to speak softly enough that they couldn’t hear her.
  8. Yep. Definitely in cahoots.
  9. Roy interrupting her and Ed was starting to feel intentional. Jenny didn’t want to risking setting Roy off again since he was already agitated, so she glowered at the ground. Maybe he and Aaron were in cahoots, trying to team up to be as annoying as possible. @RoyalBeeMage @Weaver of Lights
  10. Jenny wondered what Ed was thinking about. She hoped it was good thoughts. He worried her sometimes with what he said about himself. She considered trying to tell him her true feelings about him to try and help banish such lines of thinking, but she didn’t want to scare him away. Jenny didn’t know if he felt the same way yet.
  11. Helgen is the city that gets destroyed during the intro
  12. Jenny kissed him back. She blushed once she remembered that Lucid was right there, but it was worth it. 5 - 7. She was falling behind again.
  13. Helgen? Has something happened...?
  14. Jenny turned to look at Ed and smiled brightly. The combination of cloud watching and Ed had distracted her from her pain. She really was lucky. Ed was just so amazing. She finished her triple-braid-braid and proudly admired it.
  15. “Oh, that one looks like a cricket!” It looked vaguely like a bug if you squinted, but Jenny was rather confident in her assessment of its shape. It had wings. Maybe. And bits that kinda resembled legs. It had hoppy vibes, at least.
  16. Jenny held up Sword to compare it with the cloud and closed one eye. It was certainly stubbier. She smiled softly, think about how large the dagger had once seemed to her. She watched the cloud slowly change shape until it became an amorphous blob.
  17. “It does!” Jenny unconsciously tilted her head a bit, matching the angle of the skull-cloud. She began to braid her three tiny braids into one single braid. ”That one looks like a heart.” This time, it looked like a cartoon heart. A little more boring, but cute.
  18. Jenny smiled and leaned on Ed a bit. She started on her third braid, continuing to watch the clouds. One looked like a heart. Not a cartoon one, an actual, anatomically correct heart. It was pretty neat.
  19. Jenny nodded. She tried to read a little more over Lucid’s shoulder, but quickly lost focus and became distracted by a cloud. It was shaped like a cat. Too bad clouds weren’t as fluffy as they looked. She would’ve liked to try and somehow pet one some day.
  20. “Red hair is really pretty. Why don’t people like her? Do they think she’s annoying or something?” Jenny briefly glanced upwards at the plant hammock hanging in the tree. She then finished her braid and began to make a second.
  21. “Who?” Jenny sat back on her heels, already rather invested in finding out more about this really long book. It probably had tons of characters.
  22. “Convenient.” Lucid must have a giant coat pocket. Jenny needed to find herself a coat like his. ”Is it all just about a depressed dude? Does he, like, fight crime or something?” She was pretty sure lots of books were about fighting crime.
  23. “That’s a really big book.” Jenny was impressed by Lucid’s dedication to reading such a monstrosity. From what she could make out, it was talking a lot about some really sad guy. Not a very exciting subject.
  24. Jenny smiled, continuing to snoop on Lucid. She squinted, trying her best to comprehend the words on the page. She absentmindedly started making another tiny braid in her hair. @Wierdo
  25. Jenny peered over Lucid’s shoulder, trying to see what was written in his book. ”What book are you reading?” She’d never been one for reading. She got her letters mixed up too often for it to be fun. The lack of any education from ages six to twelve also made her reading skills rather poor.
