Hello people! It has been a crazy past few months mental health wise, and a few days ago I was diagnosed with ADHD. I’d explain the crazy circumstances surrounding that but
A. I’m gonna make a post about this stuff once I figure out all of my meds
B. I don’t wanna make y’all read a three page long rant
I’m actually kind of glad about it because I’ll be able to treat it (Adderall has improved my quality of life significantly and I can function again), get accommodations I didn’t have before, and have an explanation for some of my problems other than me being lazy. Does anyone have any tips on how best to manage this sort of stuff? So far all I have is “play Temple Run for six hours and ignore all my problems”

I'm glad that you have treatment to help out now, friend, although I am sorry to hear about the diagnosis. I can't say much because I don't have ADHD (to my knowledge
) , although I do wish you well!
A suggestion: Microwave a mug of milk with a handful of ghirardelli chocolate chips dropped in it, then put a powdered hot chocolate mix package into the milk and stir. If you're feeling especially unhealthy, but whipped cream on top. It makes the most wonderful soothing hot chocolate ever.
