    Ember grabbed his neck before he could. Her touch didn't burn him. She pulled him back to her. "I need you," she said tersely.

    But so was Ember. And she didn't feel fear.

    Ember ripped away the greenscreen. The "Seventh Layer of Hell" - including Threnody - was really just a Hollywood set. She disintegrated the once-hatchet and teleported Tom back to his ship. Ember looked at the man she had just saved.

    Ember grabbed the hatchet out of the air. It crumbed to ash in her hand.

    A force seized control of Ember's mind and forced her to speak. "You really want Ark and his minions in control of TLT? Butt was right. We're being cruel, abusing our power. This is Ember. She cannot be destroyed. And she cannot be stopped. I do not suggest you try and stop her." Ember shook her head as the fog cleared. Then, she began walking following nothing but instinct. She had to find Tom Joebob. -------------- A blind man stepped out of the alley. He had a mission, though he didn't know what. There was an empty patch in his mind. He just didn't know it. Yet. You have no idea how passionate I am about this. I am too connected to Star to let her go. I'm literally starting to cry.

    Ember was having a vision. I made a promise... Death everywhere. Unstoppable, empty Silence. And with it, so much ruin. Complete anarchy. She had to stop it. A hero was killed. A dying Star. And the Embers born of it. Pheonix... Marsh... Another reality. Not perfect, but better. A blonde man with a gun, eyes dark. A space of words that was empty. Re... write... the past.

    Ember looked confused. She shook her head. "...No." She suddenly gasped pulling her hand to her head. It felt like a nail was being driven through her skull.

    Ember took a breath. Her eye twitched. And suddenly, she shed her armor, revealing the skin like cracked lava underneath. "I think you... must die."

    Ember spoke Silence. Butt Venture was reborn of the Void. She cocked her head at Shadow. "You..."

    Because of Ax? @Truthless of Shinovar Ember found herself muttering. Each death physically hurt her. She sought out the destructions' source.

    Ember felt a sharp pain in her head. She suddenly felt an extreme drive to defend herself.

    It was not. You were just salty that I was abusing my Narrator powers. And no, it had never been a rule. But I would never do anything if I thought that it would make it so Star could never come back. Besides. We have Ember now.

    It was when you denied Star the privilege of rescuing Marsh. Somewhere around page 400. I remember because I reread it last night.

    They assassinated Star. Just look at the page before it. But don't worry, I'm retaliating in my own way. Ember is... *chuckles* Dangerous.

    They removed me from the story. I never existed. However, I can think of a few ways to get around that. Mostly focused on Xino. As for the doc, I already wrote seven pages. It's been really fun to write. I can PM you what I have if you want. A dark figure drummed her fingers on her marble throne. Star was not supposed to have been removed. But that was all right. She had to work with what she had. She spoke words and a character was born. Narrator SoT woke with the morning. She looked around, confused. Who... who was she? A fly landed on the new Narrator's shoulder. The moment it touched her skin, it burned to a crisp. She cocked her head. Somehow she knew that the only thing keeping her from burning the entire building was the special clothes she wore. It was the same way she knew that there were only four people who could touch her and live (maybe five depending on how you looked at it) and one of them didn't even exist. A name. She needed a name. She was not the Shard of Thought. She was... Ember. Beyond that, she didn't know.

    That is impossible, Star said. You cannot just wish away... She looked down at her hands which were crumbling to ash and felt the chilling truth. She was a character in the story. And her Narrator status did nothing about that. She looked at Xino and touched his mind in a single moment, forcing all her memories upon him and giving him a single command. REMEMBER ME. Then, she fell to the floor, her body reduced to smoke. Her silent consciousness joined the Void, singing an unheard song. As she faded, her characters did as well. Tamika disappeared mid-kiss and Tom was left holding nothing but air. AJ was brought back to life as an Epic, Calamity in control of his mind. Zeoy turned to dust even as she realized that she should probably get back to The Happy Inquisitor. @BringerofShadows strings disappeared. She was a marionette no longer. Even Bozo and Havel were wiped from existence as it was none other than Star who had caused the disturbances in the Void that had led to their creation. @Jaywalk Lift came back to life. Kelsier and Jasnah had never met so Max was no more. And @xinoehp512 was made into a full Narrator once more.

    Alright then. Star remade the universe just as it had been before.

    I am a Narrator and as such will bend whatever rules I like. Xino did it to me before.
