    Ember nodded. "Do you think about it often? I saw how you reacted to her corpse. It doesn't make sense, yet it needs to. And what about Butt? His loyalty to Star is unfailing, but seems to despise you."

    "I understand. As you stated previously, humans have faults. Their inconsistency makes true trust impossible." Ember paused. "Shadow, I have a question. Your relationship with my sister is of an elusive nature to me. You do not seem to care for or trust anyone, yet when it comes to Star, it's as if you have some obligation to her. I am still learning. Perhaps this should be obvious and I simply have not observed long enough. Still, I would like to understand better."

    I was watching a show with my younger brother and I had access to a sheet of paper, but no pencil. I did, however, have a blue pen and TLT on the mind, so I drew the upper set of characters. Drawing faces is hard enough, but drawing exactly what's in your head is even harder. With characters, you can't exactly have a picture to look at so you have to get good at recognizing what features to change and tweak to get what you want. When drawing in pen, you can't erase, so you have to pay attention and know what you're doing. This exercise was really fun and you can tell I get better as I go on. I wasn't sure if I should post this or not, but then I did the second set and it was cool. And for those of you who don't draw, it's an interesting concept.

    Ember nodded. She took a breath. "Shadow... It appears I judged you too quickly earlier. I am... sorry. Forgive me; I am new to this whole thing."

    Ember raised an eyebrow. "'Feels good?' But you were throwing up not hours ago!"
