    Star slid backwards down the wall and laid down on her side. Silent tears fell across her face. She hated herself for crying. She'd accepted this fate along time ago! But that didn't mean she wanted it. She sighed, scratching at the cold, hard ground. She knew what was making her uneasy; Shadow and Xino were still out there, in Silence's Realm. She understood that it wasn't her fault that they'd been captured, but... She shouldn't just be lying here! Heather and Ember and Pheonix and Butt; they were all still in the wrong Universe. Maybe... maybe when the Toms finished their Bridge they'd be able to speak with Silence and free the others. As for her... Well. Wouldn't the thread be better off without her?

    Star sat up against the wall and pulled her legs to her chest. The truth was... she didn't know how to get out of here. Just like in the video of her possible past, she was caged. Back when she had fought against everyone for a title and position that she didn't even care about, she had known exactly what she was headed toward. A cage, certainly, and, depending on how much they had grown to hate her, endless abuse. She would have taken it and she wouldn't have complained. Pheonix changed all that. But what if... what if it was all just another way to torture her? Fate's way of getting back at her for all that she had done and for having the audacity to think that she might find her happiness... She sighed. Hadn't she done some good? She had freed Heather from Ruin. She had made a promise to protect Butt Venture. She had made up with Marsh and tried her best to move on and become a better person. But the fact remained that Pheonix had been taken away from her. Twice. And she had ended up exactly where she had always known she was headed. A cage. "Author?" she whispered, looking up. "TVG? Do I get out of this?" There was no reply. No feeling of reassurance or magical vision. As she recalled meeting with her Author's avatar, she pictured the crystal circlet that she had seen. Before, it had felt so right, but now... She felt crushingly unworthy. She had made herself a character, pages upon pages ago. She had subjected herself to her Author's will, letting her take control. Sure, it felt like free will, but... There was Fate to think about. What was in store for her? She felt the burns again. It wasn't bad this time. Just a few small blisters on her cheeks. They still hurt.

    So, I'm (finally) finishing up Skyward and M-Bot is amazing. Unfortunately, I didn't feel like I could express who he really is be drawing him as what he is - a ship. So I drew what I draw best and made him a person! Kinda. More like a robot. But he's cute. I think he would find it interesting. Well, not as interesting as mushrooms, but still.

    So SoT explained that Kelsier and Jasnah had gotten married a while ago on this thread and that they had two children - Edna and Max - and adopted Lift. Unfortunantly, Edna had Ascended to Odium and they had to kill her. Rose and Granite were the children that Star had with Marsh. Marsh is now dead, rest his soul.

    A few short hours later, Star awoke in sweat, breathing heavily. She still felt tired. Such sleep was not very restful. She felt useless and utterly alone.

    Because Kell and Jasnah and their family was the best thing that had happened to TLT since Butt Venture. SoT mentioned that Rose and Granite had joined their family as Star was unable to care for them.

    Kell and Jasnah were unaffected. SoT was sad they hadn't been mentioned in a while.

    And Narrator SoT looked at the carnage before her, thinking, Wow. TLT is dark. No wonder Star is all rusted up.
