    "Yikes!" SoT exclaimed. "This doesn't look good, kids." She teleported all three of them to a beach.

    "What was that?" Rose whispered. "Plot," SoT said, suddenly appearing. Both kids jumped. "Yeah, you should definitely be scared."

    Rose tensed and Granite flared his metals.

    "You wanna stay?" Granite said, growing angry. "Stay where? With who? Dad's dead. Mom abandon us. Jay is a liar. We hardly know Aunt Sophie, if she's even related to us at all. No one cares about us. No one."

    "C'mon, Rose," Granite said, walking away. "Granite, we can't just up and leave." "Yes," he growled. "We can." He tried to take her wrist again, but this time Rose refused to budge, shaking her head. "No," she said. "I wanna stay."

    Granite narrowed his eyes. "Are you a Narrator too?"

    Ember started to follow after Heather, then hesitated, looking back at her master. She froze in place, unsure if she should go help Heather or stay and wait and watch. The Destroyer bit her rocky lip, uncertain. Star wouldn't need her now... would she? Sighing, she took off after Heather.

    "Ahh!" Granite exclaimed, disoriented. SoT smiled. "Hiya! We're glad you're back! I-" Granite grabbed Rose's wrist. "We gotta go," he said, running away with her.

    "So..." Rose said, looking about. "How are we going to go about making me a.... Narrator?" SoT shrugged. "I have no idea." Rose cocked her head, confused. "And... where is Granite? I haven't seen him since-" "Star's darkness!" SoT cried. "I left him with Jay!" She put a flustered hand to her head. "WhatamIgonnado?!" She started pacing, until she realized that she cold just *snap*. A confuzzeled Granite appeared next to her. "Ah, ha!" she exclaimed. "There he is!"

    Granite didn't want to be one of them. He stood, taking a small vial from his pocket, uncapping it and drinking it. He had Snapped soon after Star had left. And with his metals, he could protect himself.

    Here is the drawing of Samika I promised a while back. It was fun to draw her rollerblade whats-it's and her whip and her braid. What an interesting character, I hope we see more of her personality eventually.

    Ralvon in all his snakey-evil glory! I'm sorry about the third drawing of his face, that's just really really bad. And his neck needs to be thicker at the top, but whatever. The handerfle version of him is creepy. I am SO GLAD those things don't exist IRL. And of course, we have a good little love triangle doodle. Poor Tami, it must be hard having all those guys drooling over her.

    Granite sat on his bed, fuming. He couldn't believe that Max had been training with Jay this entire time. How could his cousin trust that lying, no-good Narrator? He was... he was no better than his mother, Star. She'd been a Narrator too, hadn't she? And she'd left him. That was it then. Narrators were just... evil.

    Granite's brow furled in saddness and disappointment. "You promised!" he yelled as the guard let him away. "And you lied just like everyone else!"

    Granite frowned. "But you promised..."

    Ember set her jaw, but did not reply.

    SoT blushed. "Aww, Shards, I forgot about the kid!" She Narrated Rose so that she stood a few feet away from her. "Now don't you run away from me again young lady," she said, shaking her finger.

    And that was when Granite realized that he didn't know where his sister was. "Hey!" he said to Jaywalk. "I thought you said we'd be taking Rose along!"

    SoT folded her arms. "And I still haven't gotten to see 'im yet..."

    "You've got problems, mister. Silence is dead, you don't hafta do this stuff anymore."

    "I think he has OCD," SoT whispered loudly.

    Sensing the tension, Ember stepped in front of Heather protectively.
