  1. She pouted, remembering the QoS thread where people had been too scared of her to godmod her. If she stayed here long, she'd go insane. Well, more insane, she supposed.
  2. "I don't even want to be here," Astral mused. "I don't belong with you."
  3. For indeed, the apocalypse had come. In the form of a Shard and a broken down Narrator.
  4. "S-see?" Sophie said. "He does what he does... for good." She sounded like she was trying to convince herself. Astral cracked her knuckles, each one producing a clear snap. She sighed. "I don't need style." And smiled. "I have power."
  5. Astral breathed in the air. A line of smoke was pulled into her lips. She shuddered in pleasure. The sorrow here was potent indeed. She hadn’t realized just how hungry she had been. All those pages spent as a helpless character in Silence’s dungeon… withering away, blind to her own predicament. Cut off from her very Author in her conqueror's clutches. But now she was free. Free to drink in the beautiful suffering around her. Free to reclaim what was once her's.
  6. Astral raised an eyebrow, drawn by the mention of her twin's name. She moved her consciousness toward the child. What... what in the name of TVG was this? And how did he know that name? She growled. If what she thought was correct, then Star was in far deeper trouble than she had first assumed.
  7. From the album: The Longest Thread (Misadventures)

I am so darn happy to announce the Queen's return, on TLT at least. Sometimes being a hero gets boring. Sometimes it's just nice to be dark and evil. And if you're going to do it, you might as well go all out. So I say, All hail the Queen!!
  8. Sophie looked to Michael. "Is what he says true?" Please say it's not...
  9. Theory; "Ruin" isn't actually Ruin. He's BoS's Author. Er, well, her Author's Avatar. "Silence wouldn't do that..." Sophie muttered. "He... he's good."
  10. "The Queen of Shadows," Astral said. "And I always have been. You've never respected that." Sophie didn't answer and looked to Michael pleadingly.
  11. She melted into black sludge and reformed again. Sophie whimpered.
  12. Sophie screeched. Ruin terrified her. The withergeists terrified her. She was terrified. Just terrified of everything. She instinctively put up a forcefield around herself, and made it big enough to include Michael as well. Astral appeared behind Jay. "Finally," she said, "the cruel one feels what he inflicted. How does it feel?" she asked, angry.
  13. Sophie flinched. "Oh Author... That's not good. That's really... not good..."
  14. Sophie sighed. "Can I do anything to help? Preferably nothing too... deadly..." She paled.
  15. "She's the embodiment of the beauty of darkness and power itself. She belongs with the plot..."
  16. Sophie saw Astral in the projection. "Pheonix's ashes!" she cried. "Is the Astral? The Queen of Shadows?! Oh, this is bad. She wasn't supposed to come until... But now... Oh, bother."
  17. "You'll just have to wait and trust me." She smiled. "Can you do that?"
  18. "No, actually. I was hoping that Tom would do some of my work for me, but your withergeists seem to be doing a good enough job. If you get them to eat at one part of the Reality barrier for long enough, then there may be enough room for me to slip in. But only me. I will not let Star be hurt before I can save her."
  19. "I am no Allomancer. My husband may have been of your kind, but I am a thing of words, not metal. Besides. If all goes as planned, I will be gone soon. Once Star has proved her darkness to me, I will give the rest of my essence to her. And I will be no more. Star is the one to ask."
  20. Astral raised an eyebrow. "Yes, the girl. My other half cares for her. That is a weakness I am willing to exploit. Heather will not be hurt. At least, not too badly." She couldn't resist a grin. Edit: The grin faded when she realized that she had been ninjaed. TLT... Ugh. She needed to get out of here.
  21. Astral smiled her black-lipped smile and chuckled. "Ruin," she said in greeting. "What a pleasant surprise. I should have known your handiwork when I saw it."
  22. A withergeist curled around Astral's leg, slithering up her black, leather pants. She smiled, picking it up with her grey fingers. "Hello, little one," she said. The withergeist hissed at her and she chuckled, petting it. "Hush now. You know my essence." The little creature purred. "That's better. Now run along. Tell your little friends about me." The withergeist extended its wings and flew off her finger, screeching terribly. Astral smiled.
