  1. Nile spied a man standing alone amidst the carnage, clutching a blade glowing blue. “Land there,” he told the pilot, readying his gauntlets. “He’s the leader—I can tell.”
  2. "Understandable," Void said. "But the characters are me, and I am the characters. We are inseparable."
  3. Author Void tapped on TVG's door. "Sometimes you just gotta do something a little different." - - - Universe Hexagon was in a state of unrest. A representative from the government was sent to inspect the carnage, and perhaps discern where the bodies had been taken. But there was no trace of the Hyxali, save for the enchanted bloodstains on the ground. "No clue what happened," Nile radioed back to base. "Must've been cannabilism or something." "We hear you, Operative Nile," the radio said back. "A bonejet is en route to pi--" The voice cut off, replaced by static. "Hello?" Nile said. "Anyone there?" After a few moments of radio silence, a different voice came through--a woman. "Nile? Nile, is that you?" "Cassandra! It's me!" "We have reports of another attack going on about thirty miles south from you. The bonejet's coming to take you there, along with some reinforcements." "You're sure it's the same thing?" "Of course not," Cassandra said. "We have no idea what in Hyxlia's cursed name is going on! That's why you're on the job." The bonejet emerged from the pink clouds, diving down to Nile's truck. "Fair enough," Nile said to Cassandra as it lowered its repulsorlift. He jumped inside. "I'll get to the bottom of this, don't you worry."
  4. His body quickly dissolved, and Jakevist was a bit creeped out by the sight.
  5. Jakevist came out in the square of a small village. People were going about their business as usual; no one seemed to notice him.
  6. When the assassin turned from Aridith’s broken body, the doors suddenly slammed closed, trapping him inside the throne room. A withergeist slipped between the cracks, then dispersed. Its essence floated into Aridith, who opened his eyes and got back to his feet as if nothing had ever happened. The assassin backed up into the doors. “Whoa...” Aridith frowned. “It will take more than the Blade of Quidan to fell me. Such trifling attempts are a waste of time.” The assassin looked down at his sword—gleaming steel with glowing veins of flowing azure. He’d wrenched it from Quidan’s cold, dead hands himself. He’d killed two other Black Holed before this. But now, all that work...was for nothing? “I have a proposition,” Aridith said. ”Fire away.” ”Take that sword. Raze Universe Hexagon in my name. The people are weak and afraid—of no use to me.” ”I will do no such thing.” ”I disagree.” Aridith leaned forward from the throne, showing eyes devoid of light. “Leave now, and do as I command.” He waved his hand, and a portal opened between them. Against his will, the assassin stepped through.
  7. Author Void invited TVG to insert whoever she would like.
  8. All of Aridith’s subjects were dead, and somehow he found difficulty caring.
  9. ^I agree with all of this. The Main Theme gets me emotional every time I listen to it. And the Mechonis tracks—Mechonis Field, Central Factory—are just downright awesome. But my favorite track has to be Frontier Village. I just love the feel of it.
  10. Kaiix approached the Crimson Tide carefully, holding his blade behind his back. “Assassin!” he called. “I come bearing a truce!”
  11. We may be the Longest Thread already, but we have to keep going!
  12. 2 whole days, guys? Come on! Aridith, Black Holed supreme, slumped on his throne, contemplating. His wife and son lay dead at his feet—they hadn’t been strong enough. A pity. He did not feel sorrow, for sorrow was beneath him. The lust for revenge was such a human thing. Aridith was no human. “Kaiix,” he said. “Where might the assassin be?” Kaiix pulled himself up by the hem of his master’s robe. “Hala says they are boarding their ship.” “Excellent,” Aridith mumbled. “Catch him before he leaves and bring him to me.” ”But, master,” Kaiix inquired. “You specifically said revenge was—” Aridith silenced the scorpion man, slamming his fist down on the throne. “Revenge is not what I desire. This assassin overpowered my wife, which is no simple feat. They may become a powerful tool in our arsenal.” ”As you wish.” Shivering, Kaiix pulled his cloak tight, then ignited his mask’s overlay, and backed out the door into the icy wasteland.
  13. Ocean Eyes is a great song! *hugs* Things will get better, Star! We all go through failure—it’s inevitable, as much as we fear it—and it helps us to grow. I wish I could reach through the screen and hug you for real, and I wish I could make you feel better with words alone, but the extent of my abilities to do that is limited. All I can do is let you know that you are a gift to this world. You have so much to give, and I myself am incredibly grateful for your spirit. Edit: I just listened to the recording. You have an incredible voice! I wish I could sing half as well as you.
  14. Xenoblade probably has my favorite soundtrack in video game history! It’s so good!
  15. I can be myself. That's pretty dang weird.
  16. And turned Waluigi's spa into a pickling resort.
  17. Luigi didn’t think much of the spa at first.
  18. *hugs* That sounds awful, Luna! I hope you’re able to get past it, and I wish I could do something to help. Just know that you’re amazing and we’re all here for you during your struggles!
  19. Luigi stole Mario’s spotlight, but this made Waluigi jealous.
  20. I finished the first book a couple of days ago! I liked it a lot!
