    “I know,” he whispered, bowing his head. “I caused all of this,”—he drew the power of the void to himself—“and now I shall finish it. Marsh was the bright spot in your life. I took that away from you. It’s time to fix my mistake.”

Hahaa!” Jaywalk snorted. “You’re going too, buddy.” Bozo’s triumphant laughter died in his throat. “You storming...” ”Get out.” Bozo shot him a dirty look, made an obscene gesture, and dashed through the portal.

    Holy crap. This thread went far while I was gone. Jaywalk watched from his wall of windows in the void, tapping his fingers on the armrest of his throne. “Havel,” he called. “You may leave. Go stop him.” “Meh,” Havel said, but hopped through the portal anyway.
