  6. @Ookla the Paragon I've sorta reworked my character, you can view my edited page, here are some highlights: -removed all allomantic ability except atium usage (for atium compounding) -is now actually blind for real, and cannot recall visions in archival(for copperminds), only sound so he has to read each manuscript out loud -rips out all other inquisitor spikes (without dying?) except linchpin spike and atium spike -enhances his senses through physical training and not investiture (so he can actually walk) -added equipment tab

  8. Granted, but you always feel tired and will never sleep at all, ever. I wish that I could know everything
  9. @Ookla the Paragon REVISED He will be played in era 3 Edit: thanks for the feedback! Would an atium compounder work with copper ferring (kinda has to be with the backstory without making DRASTIC changes)? Also, i'm going to try to give this guy a daredevil-esque thing, with non-Allomantic enhanced senses. Name: Scribe (he forgot his original name) Sex: Male Age: 434 Home: Originally Scadrial, Now mobile Family: Terris breeder runaway impersonating a nobleman and a plantation noblewomen, both died during the events of Well of Ascension Investiture: Steel Inquisitor-like Hemalurgic linchpin (removed all other spikes except his atium spike), atium compounder and copper ferring (archivist) Equipment: wooden cane coppermind bracers concealed obsidian axes extra coppermind bracers Strengths: Powers of an atium compounder, expert in the use of dueling canes and axes, former steel inquisitor (he can not be shocked by gruesome battle), is resilient to pain, Natural heightened sound and touch through years of study, cannot see, so therefore cannot create copperminds with visions in them, Weaknesses: same linchpin spikes as all other steel inquisitors, guilt over killing his friend, able to be controlled by strong (duralumin) soothing, requires more rest than a normal person, bad at lying, actually blind, any mention of Scadrial can send him into a PTSD like shock for a couple seconds in combat only and a few minutes at most, Appearance: Tall (6,2), with a muscular build. wears a duster and cloak, with regular trousers and combat boots with an iron breastplate to cover his spikes, and a bandage to cover his blind eyes. History: Scribe was the son of a runaway Terris breeder and keeper that was helped into a thieving crew, and was impersonating a small plantation nobleman in the eastern dominance and became infatuated with a plantation noblewoman, who had Scribe. At a young age, Scribe showed strong loyalty to the Lord Ruler and became an obligator, where he befriended a world hopper named Seriff who was posing as an obligator. Then, Scribe was chosen to become a steel inquisitor. Then, shortly after Scribe was made an inquisitor, Seriff told Scribe about the Cosmere and world hopping, and asked Scribe to be his apprentice, and Scribe agreed, and they escaped from Luthadel and made their way to the Pits Of Hathsin, where they world hopped to Roshar and ran a few big scams, by Seriff's example, but Scribe was rather clumsy at the time and a few bad scams later they were being tailed by a Highprince with a Shardblade and narrowly escaped to Scadrial. Then, as Ruin was set free, Scribe was in Ruin's influence (17th Inquisitor ha ha) and killed Seriff, and ruin captured one of the remaining Terris keepers and gave Scribe atium compounding through hemalurgy. Scribe spent the rest of his time on Scadrial commanding koloss to destroy villages in the dominances. After Ruin died and Harmony was made, Scribe went insane with a mix of anger, rage, and depression for a few moments and pulled out his all of his spikes (except atium) with great pain, and was about to remove the linchpin when he passed out from blood loss and pain and almost died. He then was found by the Terris refugee camp and taken in, and for the first time, learned of his copper Ferring status. After recovering, he left the Terris camp at the Pits of Hathsin and journeyed to the ruins of Luthadel to use the well of Ascension to world hop. While there he vowed to compile and save as much information about the cosmere as he can, and has now compiled several caches of copperminds over the centuries after he left on planets all over the Cosmere . He discovered the Alleyverse while world hopping and would like to compile information about this realm to store in his copperminds. Current Objective: restore his atium supply on Scadrial, he does not think that it is a wise idea, but he eventually will have to.
  10. So how did the Lord Ruler breed new Terris? did he choose men to you know, be designated for baby making like some Terris women did? did he make some of the designated baby making men baby make a certain number of times, then castrate them, or were they locked into baby making for their job?
  11. Thanks, that makes a lot of sense.
  12. I've read all of the era 1 and 2 Mistborns and all of the Stormlight Achive books. I figure I'll read Elantris around Christmas.
  13. I was reading the era 2 Mistborn books and I was surprised that Marsh was alive. Did harmony make him Immortal, or at least immune to aging? And then I thought about the Lord Mistborn, and how it says that his buttons from his favorite smoking jacket were auctioned off in one of the broadsheets. Coppermind says he governed for 100 years before stepping down. Is he also immortal or immune to aging, or does he have a prolonged life?
  14. I am new.
