    John sat there, still watching. He had no idea what was going on, probably because he had slept through it all. Maybe he should pay for sleeping there and leave.

    So, I hate to turn gruesome (Stop reading if you are about to eat any pig product but bacon), it is said that Humans taste like pork. So maybe shades don't like the taste of pork and that's why they stay away from Humans and Pigs?

    I might be alone on this, but I like the older style. Other than that, it was better then the first one.

    John stayed quiet. There were theories in Silverlight of a third form of Investiture on Scadrial, something to do with spikes and granting powers that they didn't have before. He was thankful they had taken him in, but he didn't trust them one hundred percent yet.

    "Yes please," John said hurryingly, making his way to the privy shed. He pulled out the square, and activated the screen on one side. "Leave me alone," was all he said. He made his way back to the building, accepting his tea. Maybe he shouldn't of spent so many recourses trying to buy that before he left Silverlight.

    "Tired. There is tea if you need caffeine." A beep sounded from John's clothes. He froze. "Where's the bathroom," he asked Nerin.

    What kinds of tech will be possible if different worlds find a way to use the different magics to power things, similar to what's going on with Scadrial?

    John made his way out of the corner he had sequestered himself in. "Morning," He called to the rest of the room, which was full of activity. "Could I have some of that tea?" The thought of caffeine sounded good. Just no coffee. His father had been the one to drink coffee.

    His back aching from being thrown out the window, John troughed on back toward the Soothing Parlor, hoping to find a place to sleep. If nothing else, he would sleep at the side, and hope the constables wouldn't mistake him as a drunk.

    John closed his eyes, and calmed down. "I'd rather not make anyone else angry, so I'll go sleep in a friends house for the night. I'll be here in the morning though." He slipped through the door and made his way down the streets. He wasn't necessarily friends with the person he intended to visit: She was a famous Worldhopper that happened to be in the area. He walked up and knocked on her door. A servant opened the door, and he asked for Madam Deoma.

    A group of people that smelled like death? he wondered. How do you smell death? The smart thing to do was to have probably stayed in Silverlight, but it was to late to make that decision now. "You don't just run 'over here' because of a dream. Why are you here, really?"

    I'm assuming that it's Era 4 Scadrial that are the ones above on First of Sun, but do we see Era 4 Scadrial anywhere else at this point?

    "Dunno. Fell asleep." He stopped to catch his breath. "And you are?" He hoped they wouldn't try to kill him like the ones at the last parlor had.
