Thought on bonding multiple spren
Lightblood replied to Elsecaller_17.5's topic in Stormlight Archive
I had to go look at edgedancer and windrunner oaths but I can kinda see it. But they could be easily done with eachother without violating the others oaths. I believe that this is for sure possible but not something we are going to see. But who knows I didn't think we'd see someone with two shardblades but hey we saw amaram grab oathbringer and dual weild so I won't count it out though I don't think its gonna happen -
Specifically the ones that were behead or despiked by Kelsier or his brother

Minor Characters you want to see promoted
Lightblood replied to Toaster Retribution's topic in Stormlight Archive
I want to see Rlain bond to the Sibling and lead the remaining listeners and those who don't want odium among the parshem -
So we know at the recreance through the vision that Dalinar see's that the Knight radiants leave their blades and plate at the fields in front of feverstone keep. But we know that there aren't hundreds upon hundreds of blades and plate in roshar so what happened to them all?!?! So what happened to them, were they recovered by the shin or taken offworld? and if they were taken offworld than why haven't we seen them in other worlds? Either this is a massive mistake or suddenly we're gonna be shocked by hundreds of shardweilding shin riders in the immediate future? Any thoughts or theories on where they might be?

The First (or potentially last) Ideal for a Fused
Lightblood replied to TheFoxQR's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Wow. I really like this theory @TheFoxQR. I always saw this as someone that kinda feels like szeth's point of view. Death is my life, the radiant has accepted that their duty in life is to bring death to others possibly the parshmen/ voidbringers. The strength becomes my weakness, and like szeth they deeply regret having to do this but see it as their duty to do it. Or perhaps they were a compasionate person but now that they have accepted that bringing death is their life, they view their compassion, which was always seen as a strength, as a weakness as it brings added difficulty to the path they have accepted. The journey has ended I thought could refer to one of two things. One- It is referring to their journey as a radiant and self discovery. Like they were trying to find where they belonged in the order and in their world. But in accepting the life of war the journey is ended they have accepted their fate. Or two- After the war and life of bringing death they decided that it wasn't in harmony with their oaths or from the ravings of honor that they must break their oaths. This would also work with my strength becomes my weakness because they see their strength in war and surgebinding as something to be repulsed and ashewed. Disgusted by their past actions. So I have always seen it as a knight accepting his duty before the desolation or shortly after it started, or as a knight at the time of the recreance that, disagreeing with his oaths see that his actions and the information given by honor that the entire order is a contradiction. -
So in the stormlight archive there is a character in the ghostbloods, named mraize and in one scene he is said to have a "chicken" (Rosharan for bird) which brandon has confirmed to be a Aviar. Any Ideas on what it's power might be?
-
Okay so I knew that Wax had a resonance (his steel bubble) but I this WOB stated that Wayne also had a resonance. My question came from this WOB. Any ideas on what it might be?

So I've read all the books countless times and would really love to read Aether of Night. But Brandon's website now directs you here to find it distributed. Can anyone help a brother out? @Invocation, @Chaos, @Argent????

ITIAH has the reputation title of scadrian waffle cook. So I sure as heck hope he exists. Are there spikes in the waffles by chance? this could start a whole new craze...

That's a good point, I never really thought about the true scope of life sense. I was thinking more on sentient life but It's much more than that

He can sense all spren or just sentient spren? If it was all spren his life sense would be going crazy all the time because of wind, fire, gravity, (force of nature) spren are every where.

3. Roshar was already there pre- Shattering so they already had many of the things that make Roshar unique, including highstorms 4. Ashyn was certainly not like Roshar as it had stuff like soil and birds and horses. Roshar is all rocks with the only soil (in shinovar) coming from Ashyn with the humans during the fleeing of the "Tranquil Halls" aka Ashyn 6. Two continents the bigger one being taken over by "the evil" and the smaller one has the forest of hell, it is not made entirely out of the forests of hell. There are also other places and even outpost castles. 9. Not everything on the first of sun wants to kill you. Just Patji.

How do the mists make Vin permanently stronger?
Lightblood replied to Mushroom Catalog's question in Cosmere Q&A
Umm, I believe that she was just unnaturally strong and had a deep connection to preservation (so maybe this connection made her stronger? If so it's never explicitly said) The connection to Preservation however let her draw upon the mists in the battle with the Lord Ruler and ascend later, However the hemurlgic spike prevented that from happening. But if breathing in the mist made her permanantly more powerful than would it not make sense for her to make another significant jump after the fight with TLR? This does not occur so I just think your a bit confused on the topic. Sorry! -
Thanks for finding that @Calderis!!! The coppermind only had this to say So I think there might be more to this than meets the eye. Maybe not TLR, but why was it important enough for Sadeas to want to keep it? Also we don't know exactly how Cosmere Aware Amaram was but why was he keeping a collection of flutes? Just a bit of worldbuilding?
-
The flute I'm refering to is the flute that Hoid gives to Kaladin and he leaves in the camps. This question was prompted by this WOB So do we know anything about this? Can someone find where TLR is described?

Finding out that Brandon just released Stormligh 4 and on your way to buy it some one kidnaps you, ties you to a chair, and starts to tell you spoilers

It says 50 extra boxing for some pre-invested hemulurgic spikes... Can we choose who you spike to get the charge?

This would be the perfect way for them to hunt down the rest of the Heralds, I wonder if it'll become a race for the Heralds, because if Odium kills all of the Heralds then the oathpact would dissolve (as I understand it) I could see a real Fablehaven-Eternals situation going on here
-
Yeah it's most likely oduim's god metal but if it is hemalurgy then I want to know what attribute Raysium takes in hemurlgy and what a cognitive shadow could even give. remember it wasn't the Heralds that inherently had the power of surges it was through Honor and the Honorblades that they did.
