So edgedancers are always described as the slippery ones. It doesn't seem like the dustbringers would have removal of friction as one of their uses of abrasion. Otherwise, they might use it as often as Lift does. But what if it worked in reverse? What if dustbringers increased friction instead? If that were the case, then what would normally feel like a smooth surface would feel like sandpaper, therefore, causing damage. Which is what dustbringers like.
