Jacien shrugged, pocketing the paper and the watch. “Well, Auri, how do you think it went? Maybe found a friend out here?” Auri looked up at him. She opened her mouth to say something, then just closed it. Jacien smilled. “You were going to ask a question you already knew the answer to, weren’t you.” Auri nodded. Jacien’s smile grew even wider, and he walked off to find some of his contacts. He had a client to catch.

“Well then. Guess I’ll have to find this guy.” He turned toward the fire epic. ”Niw. I suppose it’s time to bring you up to speed.”

Nooo! It didn’t show up again!

Since the fight seems to have calmed a little, Jacien turns toward Freyja. “We didn’t properly meet. I’m Jacien. Nice to meet you. I heard you like chocolate, like a lot. I like cooking, and I have a chocolate cake recipe I’ve been meaning to try.”

“It’s alright. No harm done. This guy (he gestures at Silphio) wanted to hire me, Nael, this fire dude, and you to do something, but before he dies, he wanted to test our skills, so now we’re supposed to beat him”

Jacien is so surprised that he turns away from the whitespine a moment, then cursed under his breath and slid away himself. “What was that for!”

Jacien warily looked at the new people. “Please don’t interfere too much. This guy wanted to test us before hiring us, so unless one of you is Freyja, please don’t interfere.” He then turned his attention back to the fight.

Jacien sees Nael taking care of Silphio for the moment and turns to face Fluffy, the whitespine.

Jacien sprints to cut off his escape, throwing a dagger.

Jacien looked down at the larkin. Those things were annoying. He grabbed it and tossed it aside. He took a moment to reinvest, and then drew his swords. He then charged forward, slashing at Silphio, carefully avoiding the walls of flame.

Jacien smiled. “You’ve got a lot to learn.” He inhaled sharply, bursting alight with stormlight. ”But for now, let’s take out this guy.” And charged toward Silphio.

“You could try. I’ve survived worse. Threats of physical harm don’t work great on Radiants.” Jacien turned to the others. “Well I say we try to take him down outside. Malu doesn’t like us to fight in here.”

“I can help you out. I’m not any official, but I can show you the ropes, get you a little more familiar.”

“Oh. Alright then.” He started off toward the back, Auri growing after him. “Are we sure this is safe?” She asked. ”Of course not.” He whispered back with a slight smile. “And we’re going to do it anyway.” Auri responded, sounding exhasperated. Jacien smiles broadly, but sucked in a tiny bit of stormlight, to quicken his responses and rested a hand on one of his daggers.

Jacien looks around for Nael. He hadn’t talked to him much, but he seemed like he could tell him what he missed.

Jacien turns in surprise. “Alright. Do you know why?”

Jacien returns after some interesting stuff at fortress eternal. He notices Damon at the bar and pointedly ignores him.

Jacien seems to be listening to something. "Sorry y'all. I'll be back soon. I've got somewhere I need to be. Jacien leaves.

Jacien signs, but he honestly couldn’t care less. Of course Malu wouldn’t be responsible. That was crazy talk.

"Nah, you don't have to close! We'll be able to help if something happens!"
