  1. What the heck, you two! I was so confused while I tried to figure out why Mail was saying he lived in Arizona, when I know he lives in utah. The rep made it all clear.
  2. Yeah, Kobold, rage isn't the word I'd use to describe what you posted. Frustration and being upset, yes, but not rage. So you're good there. I only read half of the Calamity preview even though I got it, because I like reading the final book all together better.
  3. Congratulations to Gamma for a game well played and for having a formidable stock of items. I'd like to (jokingly) nominate the Librarians for a half-win, for having a player who had never been killed alive for the longest time. You zombies shouldn't count. Thanks, Alv for a great game. This was a lot of fun to play for the short time I was alive.
  4. That's actually a bit backwards. I needed a place for the Destructors so I added it to the game and then it was referenced. I'll just say that one of you guys here(Kobold or Voidus I think, but I'm not sure) nailed the setting of the beginning of the book. I'm impressed.
  5. If you just want to set up the government's Epics and how they rule, you wouldn't have to take direct control over them. Unless you wanted to, of course.
  6. All you need to know is that Edgerunner just slapped and pantsed Reader. That's the only important thing.
  7. Same here. Until more of my characters get killed off, I wouldn't join this new city. No matter how much I want to. There aren't any of you waiting for me, are there?
  8. I like this a lot! But don't forget my power to make you all drunk out of your minds. Welcome! As Kobold said, make sure you realize that this is the Dalles, not Dallas. I misread that the first time too and it would've been very confusing if I hadn't realized my mistake.
  9. Yes, but they're an illusion too.
  10. Plus random torture ones. And those would be awful. Scared of drowning? Well, you'll now feel like you're drowning for hours on end.
  11. Altermopolis would suck. Everything would be an illusion. You'd have no idea what was real or not.
  12. They're going to escape then? I think you're up. I know I posted last.
  13. Feel free to take any of the TT Epic NPCs, they aren't doing anything. The sad thing about this RP, like I found in the Skaa rebellion on MBI, is that none of these characters will have happy endings. Unless they evacuate Oregon, they're doomed. I get attached to these characters, well most, and I really want them to have their happy endings, but they won't get it.
  14. Swords are awesome and would be my choice if it didn't really matter what weapon I had, like Kobold. But realistically, a gun is the best choice.
  15. Page 100! Question 9 then?
  16. I've heard of them, but with your recommendations,I just added them to my to read list.
  17. Yes. It's one I really want to happen now. A big plus is that it'd give most of the TT Epics something to do after Thoughttown collapses and Chi would have a real part.
  18. Wow. I really, really like that idea. She and Flashpoint would be two of the the leaders/generals of this group, flying at the head of the army. And depending on how things go with the other possible love interest of Emma's, he might join too, which would be fun. And this would give Chi something real to do.
  19. Wow. That's one of the best ideas we've had for the actual destruction of the state, I think.
  20. Me too. I don't know if they'll be full "face your weakness" redemptive arcs, but with how those two already broke from canon, they will be staying relatively nice. I can think of vague circumstances when brigh their weaknesses and facing them could come into play though. I know you've posted it before, but what's the basics of the Dalles recent timeline with Koschei's reign and such? I think Emma would be drawn to Autumn's personality and like her as a non-Epic, if not friend, then close acquaintance. Yeah, I think Autumn would know.
  21. Yeah, it's hard sometimes to realize that these Epics aren't nice people. With ones like Electro or Timeport, it's easy, but with Edgerunner and Flashpoint, I have a hard time with it. And it's not even that they're bad people. They're just bad Epics. They were good people before but then Calamity twisted them.
  22. He may or may not live in the city next to mine and I may or may not know some people at school in his neighborhood. Depends. How long has Autumn lived there again? It also depends on how good of friends the two are. Well, considering mail-Mi suggested it in a PM yesterday as something Reader could attack her with, I haven't fleshed out anything yet. But the basics are that he was an abusive boyfriend, but she hid that from others around her and even from herself, convincing herself that he did it because he loved her enough to want her to be perfect. When she went through her Rending, her subconscious feelings rose and she killed him. After that, her love for him caused her to feel bad about it and she broke down for days, flying around, but then Koschei showed up and she acted vanilla so as not to be drafted into his group or killed. After his death, she pleaded with Vondra to let her work for him. She hadn't used her powers much during Koschei's reign and so was itching to use them, but also wasn't as prone to give in to the temptation of arrogance they provide. Thanks. I really liked that one. Finally someone gets fed up with Reader. Well, someone who's known him for longer than a few minutes.
  23. I think Voidus would win the gang war. The sheer numbers of his Epics would overpower all of ours. Yes, please. I really want to see what he and Reader will do.
