  1. You'll have to wait and find out. (But it's starting out great. There will come a pivotal moment though that everything will hang on.)
  2. a (MISTBORN SPOILERS) plotline? I like it. Most of my characters have some aspect or another of mine, but I wouldn't say that any of them are really my self-insert characters. Get excited for a Edgerunner/Frostfire collab guys. I'm quite enjoying how it's turning out.
  3. There's actually quite a few in the US.
  4. That is a great headcanon. Possible canon-defying, but will be in my head from now on. Just like I refuse to go into Edgerunner's weakness, I won't go into Electro's interests in women any more. I actually haven't plotted his death yet. Max is currently the obvious option, but I don't know if it'll work out. True, but why not? Maybe a confused Epic thought the Witch trials happened in their Salem. It's just excitement to do something that actually involves Hypno in the RP. Will she be contacting him to meet with him?
  5. That shouldn't happen. He posted and voted. The only type of thing he could've done with coins before the lynch happens is purchase a vote and I highly doubt he would've bought Ostrich's vote only to place it on himself. And actually, there are six of you, but you still all should've gotten a coin. 8-12? What calculations are you using? And lawmen don't actually have a reason to get many coins. Some, yes, but only to buy votes and send messages. Correct. My vote was not bought.
  6. Me too. I heard it referred to as the Misting SWAT team one.
  7. Thanks! I'm really excited to hear what this mission now that you keep bringing it up.
  8. Regarding the lurching, I realized that the lynch comes before the Lurching, so Dow couldn't have taken my coins. That means that the Lawmen have at least two extra coins, plus whatever they received from the lynch and Piff. Whoever killed him has six extra coins, plus their four. I assume that by the standard 1/4 rule, we have four Lawmen among us. That would give them 24 coins if they all voted and posted. Plus six from Piff, making it 30. The two lurched from me would bring their total up to 32. And now that I typed this all,I just realized that coins don't really mean anything to the Lawmen. XD
  9. A few things: First, I put my vote up for auction to see where the Lawmen would try to sway it. It didn't happen to me or Ostrich, even though Araris said he was bidding for one. Even if there was a tie in the bids, someone would've gotten it. Three deaths of those with roles. That isn't good. I don't know if this is Role Madness, but that's a lot to lose on the first day regardless. We need to be careful. Last, two coins were lurched away from me. It's possible that that was Dow's doing. If anyone else has been Lurched, I'd like to know so that we can estimate how many Lurchers and, therefore, stolen coins the Lawmen have.
  10. Thanks. I guess. :/ Flashpoint got the good genes. Well, if you remember the beginning, Flashpoint wasn't all that nice either. I have conflicting feelings about Hypno. I really hate him. But I'm liking writing him. I think it's because I can see my writing get better and my knowledge of each character grow as we progress and how each character's viewpoints differ in style. For instance, Hypno loves the arts. In all forms. So, he notices colors a lot and uses alliteration and other rhetorical devices often in his thoughts and speech. Emma refers to herself in two different ways. And so on. Or, as Hypno just showed, kill one creepily and enjoying it much so.
  11. How about now?
  12. The Williamette was beautiful. Autumn leaves, having fallen gracefully, augmented the color of the water. They were dragged along by the swift current, contrasted by the green moss on the sharp rocks. The Van Buren Bridge stretched across the river, growing amidst crimson and tangerine trees. Hypno sat on the bank of the river in the optimal position to see the lone silhouette in the center of the bridge. With a deep breath, inhaling the scent of peace, he spoke a single word into the mic. "Jump." Hypno stood, a tranquil grin on his face. "Let's go," he Commanded the human furniture he had brought with him. They rose from their positions on the ground, stepping in place around him. The three servants were his most reliable guards. "Protect me from anyone who attacks." Sparing one last glance at the broken body brushing up against the shore, he walked towards the now empty bridge. ----------------- Upon arriving back at his home near the fields, Hypno noticed slaves rioting. They were chanting something about Euphoria. Were they off their doses? The masses in Corvallis were typically very placid and content. He Commanded one of the rioters to tell him what she was doing. Hypno was already at his limit, but the woman seemed eager to express her complaints. "We want our happiness back! Euphoria stole it from us. Raining jerk," she yelled. Hypno nodded and backed away, his guards still surrounding him. Euphoria wouldn't have stopped doling out doses of pleasure. Not unless she was going rogue. Or if she had been taken. Hypno headed towards his home, ruminating the revelations he had received from the rioters. He took his mobile from his pocket and sent a short message to Rainmaker: Ready when you are. If Euphoria couldn't control the population, Rainmaker would have to rely on lesser types of control, like Chase's tagging and Hypno's powers. Hypno cracked a smile. With Euphoria gone, he was about to have more favors asked of him. Which meant more rewards. In turn, that would bring him peace like today's. Simple peaces. Calm bridges, autumn leaves, clear rivers, broken bodies.
  13. Let me try again.
  14. Huh? I posted it in Corvallis.
  15. Hypno post up.
  16. Congrats on finishing, Coma! Okay, I like that idea. I think I'll get his intro done tonight and hen we can go from there.
  17. So did Frozen, yet everyone seems to know who Elsa is. If it won't mess things up, then sure, Edge. Coma, would the mission work better first or after? I think I'll get Hypno's first post up today. Where our members shatter rep records and too the charts and Admins serve our GM. *probably joining you* Yeah...there's a reason I've never used it in the RP before.
  18. Okay, a couple things. First off, let's not lynch the new guy. How rude of you to begin voting for Hael when this is his first game. Second, I don't think auctioning off or buying votes is a bad thing. Obviously not too many people should auction off their vote, but it could be useful for us to see where the vote goes. I would suggest a max of two players auctioning per cycle. Buying votes isn't a bad thing. It allows us to have more control over the lynch. It's essentially a Riot, without the drawback of losing your own vote. No ones ever complained about the Rioters much before. Joe' I like that idea about the gun. Whether or not we decide for it to be the second most voted for or not, I think we should definitely discuss who to use it on.
  19. The same as on regular people, except that I believe that most Epics have a very strong will and a purpose and so would be harder, like any person of that mindset, for him to affect. In Corvallis, precious few Vanillas would have that will, but most Epics would. And if he tried to Command any of the Queens, he knows Rainmaker would have his head. Can it please not be in the intro post? While that was awesome, it's super long to go reread. but consider me looking for it now.
  20. Ah, I see. Just demonstrating her superiority. That's what I thought it might be. I just figured that he could be in the crowd, hypnotizing a large group of the regulars, so that anything Rainmaker ordered, they'd be more likely to obey. Do I get to know what that job is?
