Mid-Range Game 9: The Steel Ministry
Mailliw73 replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
In LG7, the Skaa were technically Eliminators, but were called "good" and written in green in the writeups. Being a skaa then, I never referred to us as Team Evil or anything like that OoC, but in all my RP, I made sure my character hated skaa. It was an attempt to trick people's subconscious. So I see where Kipper is coming from, but I don't think that deserves a vote yet. Wyrm, Joe explained the prophecy. I was hoping to keep it a secret from future GMs, so as not to bias role distribution, but there it is. It isn't coming true on my end, and Alv has declined to comment. Edit: forgot to include player analyses. Here you go: Deathclutch and Meandbooks have both neglected to post. So no comments there. Zephrer doesn't seem one way or another to me, he's hardly said much. I've explained my thoughts on Joe. Shallan and Sart, I have no opinion on. Clanky, I'm not particularly sold on his innocence, but if I had to pick, I'd say he's good. Kipper, I have a hard time reading. Gut says he could be evil, but that's usually what I think for no reason. So I'd lean that way on him. Phat, Kas, and Alfa, not much to say here either, though I think Kas to be good. Nico, I'd lean towards good on. Polkinghorn, nothing. Lopen, hmm, just went back and checked his posts. He might be the most suspicious to me, actually. What he says about the skaa almost seems like he knows stuff but is pretending he doesn't. Honey, also a bit of a bad feeling, but nothing go back it up. Creccio, seems helpful, but is new, so I have nothing to go off of previously. Id say good. Alv, Quiet again. I always want to kill him because he's storming good, but that's it. Araris, nothing. Winter, I go back and forth on her. I have a bit of a hard time reading her as well. Orlok, I want to say is leaning towards the evil side, but at the same time, I think he's good. Venture, no comments. Ripple, Orlok does bring up the subliminal message, but that's not enough for me yet. Vom, always very analytical, regardless of alignment, but I'd lean towards a townread on him. Stink, always tough to read Wyrm, finally, I think you're good, but that doesn't mean much. Those are my thoughts, but excepting Joe, I've never been great at reading people in the thread.- 755 replies

I had my first Cosmere dream last night. I've never understood how you guys had them, but now I know. I don't remember much about it, but Bleeder was some huge brute of a guy trying to kill me and then my alarm went off and I woke up.

Mid-Range Game 9: The Steel Ministry
Mailliw73 replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Kas/Clanky, I knew defending Joe would make me suspicious. Thing is, after so many games with him, I've picked out many of his lies, just in the last QF, I knew from day 1 that he didn't have a Merc like he claimed. Not that this is complete proof that I know his alignment, but this is me getting a good read, or at least telling the truth about having Tin. I think I'm right, but who doesn't? So, if you badly want a lynch, go ahead and take me, if that'll help you, but these are just ny thoughts.- 755 replies

Oh, I know. But Jag knows he has the numbers and Dragoon would probably get involved himself, plus he's pissed off himself, so he really just does not give a chull. Oh, well, if we decide a place, I'll edit it in. And, two pissed off Epics posted.

Mid-Range Game 9: The Steel Ministry
Mailliw73 replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I'll second that. 5 pages already? That might be a record, especially for an MR. See below. Exactly. I might have had some suspicions on what he wanted to do, but I wasn't sure and just decided to throw in my lot with Joe's, but now that he's realized the flaw, we need something to go off of.- 755 replies

The Traveler covered for his insane girlfriend, "She'll get started on that list," he said. "Just….give her a moment." Altermind had his illusion nod, but inside he was furious. Why waste time fussing over regular humans? And what did it matter if Voidgaze had a boyfriend? Wait, Voidgaze was dating Big Al, the sausage guy? Something was definitely cracked with her too. Altermind took the internet expression too literally and actually put his face in his palm. Why did he get all the crazy ones? The only benefit he could see was that he didn't have to live in that floating museum of nutheads and creeps. Not a soul there was intelligent enough to deserve a spot in Thoughttown, save Trattner and the professor, if he wasn't obviously losing his mind. When Traveler joined the conversation, slightly rebuking the hippie, Altermind gave up and sat down on his armchair to wait this out. After a couple minutes, he decided to grab their attention. He created a hallucination of lightning striking his desk, complete with thunderclap and brief color-changing flames. "Have you had enough, Funtimes? I'm sure these girls will be around to gossip and exchange juicy kissing secrets in an hour. When our business is concluded, you have my leave to chat as much as you want with them," he said, giving his voice the surround sound treatment. "If you haven't noticed, this city is at war, and I am going to do my damnedest to see that we win. Are you going to help?"

Jag was impatient. The instant that the soldiers told him where Dragoon met with newcomers, he took off, bounding across the land towards a warehouse. The Australian pair followed behind the rest of the Destructors and met him there. Jag sheathed his machetes; no matter how angry he was right now, this was a time for good impressions. He could take his anger out on some civilians later. "Best behavior, guys. We need his help," Jag reminded the others. Smasher took the second position behind Jag. If any surprise attacks came, best for him and Jag to take the brunt of it. Metalmech stayed outside to keep guard along with Bangarang. Jag burst through the door, past the guards. "I am Black Jaguar, leader of the Destructors. I've heard of you, Dragoon, and would like to request some aid," Jag announced. He saw that he had burst into a conversation with a couple of pirates, one male, big, stereotypical pirate, and a thinner girl, probably a lover. Dragoon himself had his famous Horsemen assembled as well as Affinity, his liaison. Right now, Jag didn't care that the pirate was probably pissed to high Calamity. Dragoon wouldn't allow him to get in a brawl right here in his city, and Jag had had to wait and he had lost and he had rarely felt this angry and frustrated. He made sure he had a clear path to the door in case he needed to run and stared down Dragoon with all the kindness he could force out.

I take it you're the one who balanced my post out? Thanks.

So the idea works, but not on yourself. What if the other person was a Coinshot holding you up? Would that negate it and it wouldn't work?

But Hoid can't hurt anyone and he mainly has defensive powers.

What is Dragoon's "regular meeting place" like? That's all the description that's been given so far.

If you're above someone else, could you make this work for them to walk on?

Long Game 14: To Shatter a Shard
Mailliw73 replied to Jo and the Bush's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Hael, I know. That was the point. I wanted everyone to assume that and it lasted until I was attacked. And even then, many still thought I was a poisoner. Lopen, that's true. You did do that and I think you were the third(Hael and Wilson were first and second) to deduce my role.- 1225 replies

Mid-Range Game 9: The Steel Ministry
Mailliw73 replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I'm not completely sure what I'm doing, but I'm trusting Joe enough to give him one cycle to prove himself. He did very well in the QF, and impressed me there. I'm giving him a shot, though of course, I can't have the Lurchers actually follow through.- 755 replies
