    Ok, so I am sewing metal wire that has been woven together. Not a flat piece of metal. I have sewn flat pieces of metal before, but the metal has to be light and you have to punch little holes and file them so the sharp edges don't cut you or the thread. I will try to get you guys a picture.....maybe not all of them....they are gifts that some people who may or may not be getting will see.... (^_^) Till, I didn't think sewing Viking weaves we're all the interesting. I'm really a boring person with little to no skill, guys. Trust me.

    @Delightful, So the gauge of wire for the weave is maybe, maybe 20 gauge? So for such a delicate wire a polyester silky blend seems to work. Basically instead of end caps for this particular project, I sewed the ends together and added some ribbon. If the wire was any thicker than 20 gauge, I dunno if the thread I used would work. I had a couple of small pieces of Viking Weave from an earlier project around and I didn't want to waste it. I'm not an expert though! Take my words with a grain of salt! (^ム^)

    @Sorana wow! That is some dedication to sewing! Good thing you like it! My mother in law has an embroidery machine, she made Ofelia a couple of embroidered dresses. They are cute and the machine is pretty good from what I can tell. My embroidery is.....subpar at best. You know how Sarene can't draw or embroider? Yeah, I'm that bad. (≧∇≦)b(^_^.)

    Ahh, ok. How long does it take to make just one costume? See for me that would take at least 3-4 months.
