Light flashed in Talost's eyes as a text was sent on Ambrosia's phone. He was crouching a few feet outside of the window, his armor slightly camouflaging him, hiding him from her sight. He would not attack her yet, for she was on edge. He could tell by the furtive glances and the way she walked. She knew something was wrong. However, Talost could assuage those fears. He just needed to let a little bit of Silas out. * * * * * * * * Talas crawled up to the door. Talost was in control, but he was letting a little bit of Silas peek through. Just enough for Ambrosia to see the man she married, and not the monster that was left. Monster? Talost was not a monster. He was a prince, a king. Maybe he was letting too much of Silas come out. Talas dragged himself up to the door, preparing a sob story to tell to his wife. His wife? No, she was just a target. He raised his fist, and knocked. @RayOfSunshine

"You'll need this too, before you go." Talost had just finished dressing himself in black leather armor, Awakened to hide him and silence his movements, gifted him by his father. Now, Allak held out a long, thin Shardblade. "You haven't been able to bond this yet, so you'll need to keep it close to you at all times." The Blade had long, dark waves running through it, much as if it had been forged from Damascus steel. A smokestone was set in the pommel, beginning the bonding to Talost, which would be completed in a few days. "Do you know your first mission?" "Yes." Talost replied in the affirmative. "I must hunt down and kill the wife and children of Silas Jostson, and then move on to the same process for his mother." "Correct. Now go, hunt, and kill, my son." Talost ran, jumping through the window, glass bouncing off of the off-white carapace spikes now emerging from his body, thick charcoal colored strata running through his once purely tan skin. Small slits had been made in his armor which let more spike ridges peak out, showing the monstrosity of this now 7+ foot tall killer. @Ax's Boyfriend @Ark's Boyfriend

Talost stirred, his eyes flashing. Each small section of tungsten holding him down slowly lifted, one by one, each releasing a puff of steam as it lifted away from his skin. He rose, pushing himself off of the table with shaking arms. "It is time." His father stood behind him, wearing a dark red suit. "Time for the transformation?" Talost asked. "Your first Form of Power awaits you, my son," Allak answered. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * They stood on a cliff, far away from the Alleycity, which they could faintly see had caught ablaze. The Alleystorm approached. Bonding was near. Though Silas would have chosen smokeform, Talost had chosen stormform. A form of strength and destruction. And, with an added bonus, built-in light shows. Talost picked up the gem that held the stormspren (or whatever they were called I can't remember) and threw it onto the ground, crushing it beneath his heel. The storm hit. And the transformation began. @Ark's Boyfriend @Ax's Boyfriend

Is there a value for stormform? It is from a spiked-in gemheart, and the transformation is happening during the Alleystorm. @Voidus

Silas writhed. Multiple sections of his encasement had been removed, small hexagons cut from the tungsten. However, instead of relieving some of his pain, there was a problem with these holes. Each one had been filled with a hybrid fabrial, one that created heat and pain. If Silas were free from the Eggshell, you could see the hexagonal brands upon his skin, each one burnt to a blackened crisp. By now, he had lost consciousness. Even if he were to be freed, he would never be the same person. Never could be the same person. A new hole was cut. This time, something cold, sharp, and only mildly painful was inserted. The spike pierced his flesh, and with the gained power, a gemheart began to form. No spren yet resided within, but once he was released, he would be set free to bond and gain a form within the Alleystorm. If he were lucid, he would have already decided upon smokeform. A small snippet whispered in his head. Smokeform for hiding and slipping between men. A form of power, like human Surges. Bring it 'round again. Though crafted of gods, It was by Unmade hand. Leaves its force to be but one of foe or friend. It was a stanza from one of the songs Nascenes spoke of. If he were able to obtain this form, he could hide from Allak. Was the monster named Allakn-Isal his father? No. Yes. Silas wasn't sure. But who was Silas? Silas was a weak and a dead man. The name of the man trapped inside the realm of pain was... Talostr-Akuv. Yes. That was his name. He learned this from the voice, whispering in his ear, telling him the truth of who he was and what he was born to do. Talostr-Akuv, or simply Talost. Son of Allak. The Furious Hunter. Regardless of Phoenix or Vortex, Talost would rise from the marred corpse of his fallen self. A bitter man. A better man. He was the better man. Talost was the best. After all, the whispering voice told him so. And the voice never lied. @Ark's Boyfriend @Ax's Boyfriend

I agree with this wholeheartedly. Even though you were given the 'right' to create OP characters, Ark/All Bureau Members, doesn't mean that everyone can keep up with them. You got those characters so that you could make a better plot, but so far, all they've done has caused an absolutely dead plot with a severe lack of anything enjoyable. I got an OP character for my character as a person. He is there solely for story purposes, while the Bureau characters all seem to exist just to make this plot unnecessarily hard and no longer the fun Alleyverse that many people (especially me) joined for. I remember back when we had Lopen around here, with his insane love for waffles and being not serious. Now, we have: AAAHH DEATH AND DARKNESS WE ARE BORING AND LACKING IN CREATIVE EXECUTION. -

Silas awoke, this time in a form-fitting enclosure, only allowing his head to touch air. A constant stream of water ran down onto this head and into his mouth, never relenting. He turned his head to the side, and with a look at his former master, he mocked, "The Eggshell? I thought that you saved this for the little children, you idiot." Allak chortled. "That's because I want my children to be strong. You are weak now. When this week is over, you will be the mightiest of us all, my dearest son. Raised above on a dais of hatred and power. You are the one meant to lead us."

Silas awoke, lying on a couch. "Before you try anything, I took the liberty of removing your weapons," his former master said, back facing Silas. "I don't need those knives, sir," Silas said, driving the last word into Allak. "I gave up the need for those tethers you gave me long ago." Silas rotated and jumped at Allak, his right arm glowing. Silas intended to pull out one of the spikes on Allak's back, but without even turning his head, Allak moved to the side and kicked Silas in the groin.

Silas walked through the streets. He had left his friends behind, claiming this was his own mission. Which was true. No one could be allowed to follow him. Silas reached down towards his hip and pulled out a special flash-bang gun. He put his earbuds and noise cancelling headphones on, and lifted the gun high above his head. The noise echoed, and the light burned an image through Silas’ closed eyes. “I’m here, you son of an axehound! Come and get me!” Silas removed the earbuds and headphones and waited. Then, he heard a rustling of cloth and a dripping noise. “Come with me, my son.” Silas walked towards Allak, and when he reached him, they were both Lashed away by Allak.

Silas walked over to the nearest window and opened it. He took a deep breath, nodded to his mother, and then jumped out.

It is intelligence, memories, and mental fortitude, yes, but most insanity is a combination of mental and emotional instabilities, so adding zinc would help just as much, if not more in some cases, than copper.

Silas flipped back onto his bed and lifted the bass guitar off of his wall. He played a quick riff, and then sat up. “So, Anthony, besides joining the Ghostbloods, what’s happened for you recently?”
