“Yeah, out of all the things I expected to happen that was not one of them.” Melody chuckles.

Melody waved back, a slight smile on her face, “Thank you!”

The Koloss from the party comes in and throws the crazy person out the window. “Well, I guess that takes care of that. Now, about this cake.” Melody says, sitting back down.

Melody look at the new cake, “Huh, you guys had two cakes back there?”

Walker takes shots at the crazy waiter and Melody holds back, feeling kind of useless. She didn’t have anything ranged and didn’t want to get in the line of fire. Just then someone came out of the kitchen, holding a cake. Melody glances at it, “Why does everyone assume we’re going to get married! This is the first date!”

Melody turns back to the waiter, weirdly satisfied from Watcher’s anger on my behalf.

“Yeah well, someone” -she glared at rick- “decided to hit me with a barstool, that’s going to hurt for weeks!”

“Took you long enough!” Melody said, “for someone who fights for a living you’re pretty slow on the damsel in distress front!”

“Guess we’re doing this the old fashioned way.” Melody sighed, holding her back. “Hey, that barstool hurt by the way.”

“Huh, well call me crazy but I’m kind of glad he did.” Melody said, “Now, do you happen do have any blades on you? This dress doesn’t have any.”

Melody could feel he heat on her face, then it was gone. She stands up, groaning, "so you decided to help huh?"

She tried to avoid the barstool and almost did, the edge caught her and she cried out on pain and fell to the floor. Melody looked up at walker who seemed to be stunned, “A little help here?” @Darth Woodrack
