Melody walked into the room, looking around. So many people... she takes a deep breath, then puts a slight sound barrier around her ears, making the noise of the room quieter. Then she steps in. -

The plates are put in front of each guest. They hold steak and mashed potato’s. A salad plate is also set in front of them, it has a caesar salad. @Sherlock Holmes @ShadowLord_Lith

Cinder looks up at the new arrival but doesn’t comment. Looking back at Shae he speaks, “Lets not discuss things like that quite yet, they have a tendency to spoil people’s appetite.” He smiles. Three people walk out of a side door, each holding a plate, as if they where waiting for Cinder to make this comment. @Sherlock Holmes @ShadowLord_Lith

Melody sighs, then stands up, “I’d better go to, thank you for dinner.” And she walks out the door.

Cinder nods, then leads them into a room where a table is set up. The table has three chairs around it, one on one side and two on the other. Cinder sits down in the lone chair. @Sherlock Holmes @ShadowLord_Lith

About 10 minutes later Cinders voice floated down the hallway. A moment later he walks out the left hallway, on the phone. He notices Dan and Shae and ends the conversation and puts away the phone. “Welcome!” He says, “come, I’ve had food delivered, then we can discuss the details of your commission.” @Sherlock Holmes @ShadowLord_Lith

Shae walks in to see a clean, and empty reception area. There’s a woman sitting at a circular desk towards the far wall and a hallway leads off to either side of you. “I assume your Shae?” The woman says in a sweet voice. @ShadowLord_Lith

“Yes, you get out.” The driver says.

The driver ignores Shae’s questions, keeping his eyes ahead. After about 45 minutes they pull off the freeway and onto a side street. The car stops in front of a large white building with the words Independent Art above the doors.

I make playlists to go with characters in books I like, or a story I am writing, etc. I just love thematic music, I curate it in my spare time.
