Hello I'm the founder and director of the Cosmere Symbology Department we like to study the cultures themes and symbols of different Societies in the cosmere, though I myself personally I'm on a Hemalurgic free diet i think the DA is doing grea... interesting work. And I was thinking since there's so many "scientists" here in the dark alley that some might be interested in cosmere symbology.

note: - this is not finished if there is assignment that you want that's not up there tell me I will make it happen. - just because you specialize in something doesn't mean that's the only thing you have to do the more Minds on any project we're working on the better - if you don't tell me what assignment you want I'm going to put you under undecided, this doesn't limit you as a team member at all (it's essentially the same as general researcher), like I said the more people working on the project the better, it's just to keep track of Who's Who. - if I put you as the head/director of anything the only distinction between you and a regular member of that team is that you're going to have access to all the links to the Google Docs projects so if someone wants to join one you can send them the link you also have a vote in the department Council I will have updates and more information on stuff like the department Council soon

@AonEne you can pick anything those assignments are just examples of what you could choose, if you want I could put you down as general researcher.

Hi I'm new to the forum and this question has been annoying me since i reread elantris after i read mistborn so here it goes Brandon has a thing about ribbons, or at least he has a thing about putting ribbons in his cosmere novels, the “burial cloths” that the priests put on the people taken by the shaod in Elantris are “...long and flowing, like ribbons sewn together into a loose robe.” the mistcloak in the mistborn series is described similarly in the stormlight archive ribbons seem to have a special significance to Kaladin with both sil and windspren being referred to a ribbons of light and the fact that bandages have played a major part in Kal’s life (but that might be coincidence) not to mention the references to ribbons when transferring investiture throughout the cosmere novels this is just what i came up with in a few minutes if anyone else has any ideas i would love to hear them
