This is what always confused me. The planet was apparently rendered uninhabitable by Radiants, thus why they broke their bonds.
But this conflicts with the powers that have been detailed on Ashyn [The disease investiture]
So either they only had the diseases and not surgebinding, thus defeating the entire bond issue or both branches of power were there, with odium generating the diseases and honor generating surge binding.
I would have liked a standard novel, with fully illustrated pictures every few pages. I'm not a fan of Graphic novels sadly and would prefer to read plainly. I do want some pretty pictures though xD
As the troops began to search through the crowd, whispers began to spread. "Savages, marking the children! Did you see the brand on Sander's son? Disgusting"
I imagine a far more effective shardgun would be energy based if you could get the Spren to shoot pure investiture or an ability it provides to its radiant.
But then again, if you can shoot a beam, you may as well see if you can do an energy wave with your shardblade

Granted, You receive a tiny shard of metal, seemingly snapped off from the edge of a sword.
It is heavier than it should be, and warm to the touch.
Otherwise, it is quite useless and unremarkable.
I wish I could duplicate objects at will
You'd have to chuck an Avatar, the floating islands in that are filled with a room/environment temperature superconductor. Superconductor can float on magnetic field.
If you decide to go that route, you would still need to design a way to keep the island balanced from flipping over
