When you and your history teacher start talking about The Wheel of Time, since his first name is Rand. It went something like this: Me: "So wait, did your dad read WOT? Me: *disclaimer that I haven't read the books* Us: *realizes that the class is waiting blankly for us to move on from our book tangent*

Clearly, everyone else disagreed. Most of the time, people don't like someone else controlling their characters without permission because it could betray the traits or personality of that character, and...just because. It's like stealing someone's stuff. While controlling the plot lets you do some things that others wouldn't be able to, you should always ask people if it's okay before godmodding. At least, that's the rule in most RPs. If yours is different, fine, but I recommend you make that clear before it starts so everyone is aware.

There probably wouldn't be much arguing if you didn't godmod...

Ene was startled, as she'd thought they were already on their way. "AHHHHHHHHHHH," she screamed.

"Oh." I blinked, then smiled. "Yeah, I'd like that."

She sighed. "Yeah, okay, perhaps."

"I think most people try to be unique."

"It adds humor and fun." Ene wondered when Star had gotten into the spaceship.

Spambots are everywhere, and while Sharders team up to report and mods hurry to ban, they're overwhelming the site! Even as you join the battle, you know our side will soon fail... "Because our spam isn't absolute nonsense - it has a pattern. We have conversations." Ene jumps into the spaceship.
