“Oh, you’re one of those people,” Kios said sadly, then erased all emotion from his face. “Sorry, I’m not a fan of future-seers. Don’t tell me anything about mine, or I’ll send HR after you...who are you, by the way? I need to know your name to file a report, they’re particular that way. Once I sent in a complaint without mentioning the maiden name of the denizen I had an issue with and I had to sit through one of their lectures.” He shuddered. “Those are worse than eggless cookie dough.”

Marion was walking through the woods. She wasn’t entirely sure where she was; Silverlight wasn’t exactly somewhere she’d spent a lot of time, and she ached to explore the city and ask questions, but she had work to do and there was Ap to avenge and so on, and so she’d reluctantly listened to Safire Dretve and went off exploring with Diamond Umber and a dragon. She tried not to think about the dragon existing. It hurt her brain with how much there was to learn. @Sorana

If we can, Cassie though pessimistically, but didn’t speak. “Why don’t we let Doc take care of it?” He was the adult; she didn’t want Shana to have to do anything about this herself. Everyone in this house had so much responsibility for their age, so much in their chest. Even herself. @BookishOcelot

Kios was strolling through the Alleys. This was the best part of being in the DA; baking was fun and Hemalurgy was informative, but Alleytraveling let you find the most interesting things sometimes - it was always an adventure. Especially in the Alleys around R&D. But he wasn’t there today, just wandering, enjoying the movement and discovery. Wasn’t that what Radiants always said? Journey before destination. Kios was no Knight Radiant, though he had Adhesion - but he liked the sentiment, though the Words following it were less his style. He did try to stick to the life before death bit. Keeping those he experimented on alive could be quite useful in the long run, depending on what your end goal was. The Alley he was currently in was relatively normal: plain bricks and stone, not well lit, average gravity, nothing too interesting, a man sitting in the middle of the path...Kios stopped and cocked his head, raising an eyebrow. The man sported a fedora over his eyes. What did he think he was doing, covering his eyes in a place like this? Not something many Denizens would do. Though Kios supposed he shouldn’t assume. The man could be seeing through an alternative method, or could of course not need sight. He took another step forward, testing the waters, letting his foot scuff up dust and watching to see if the man reacted a few heartbeats before saying, “Hello there! How might your day be going?”

“This is Leona,” Cassie said, nodding at the girl beside her. “Hi, it was Nym, right?” Spotting Shana, she added, “By the way, we’ve got a Voidbringer tied up in the garage. All out of Voidlight, but this one can use Transportation, so we need to be careful. We were going to try and bring one back, though?”

THIS IS THE SONG THAT NEVER ENDS

I would disagree, but if you want to stop talking about it that’s cool too What does?
-
It’s called AVEN. I haven’t done anything on it other than post the intro thread, though, because my reason for wanting an account went away on its own.

This world isn’t the slightest bit predictable, not any more than most fantasy ones, anyway. Just about anything can happen here, too, whether it’s in realistic fiction or nonfiction or fiction on Earth. A character’s personality isn’t taken away from them because they’re living on Earth - I mean, we live on Earth. Most of the time, yeah, which is why I haven’t quit writing Negation I’ll probably read you tomorrow, gotta go now. Good night, Star!

Trust me, tons of people are getting pushed to their limits in TKND While I respect your opinion - realistic fiction isn’t my favorite genre either (and I hate historical fiction, usually) I don’t understand why you say it’s boring. People get pushed to their limits all the time; fantasy doesn’t hold a monopoly over that. Honestly, I find it harder to RP when my character is in a position of power that’s when it skews more toward boring for me, because if they’re powerful, what do you do next? But it can definitely still be fun - it’s hard to write Gati and Conquest, but less so for Deteca, and way less so for Aurum. You cannot escape us Well, if we’re going to get technical, nothing is ever original, there are only original takes on things. And I think most of the characters in TKND are uniquely written, because everyone writing them is different for example, in the canon we have seen a character kill their spren - Kaladin and Syl. But he sure never killed her by breaking the first oath, and by going to the Nightwatcher, and he didn’t do it for the reasons my character Cassie did. Originality!

You’d be surprised but it doesn’t happen often. That’s another thing I love about RP, you can always be someone who’s not you!
