  1. YOU ARE AMAZING! You dont happen to have the Aons under your belt too? Thank you so much. Oh and the other two pages of Alomancy symbols? XD *me dances around with excitement* wooo you're awesome
  2. Joe ST

    LTUE

It could be prior to the shattering, cause anything goes in a world/universe with a proper God
  3. You are amazing
  4. oohh, vectors hey? can you export to svg and then zip them up and attach to a post here in the forum? I'd love you forever
  5. Good day to you, master Climhazzard. How fares Scotland? Great to have you aboard, good chap A girlfriend hey,... don't let Eric get close to her... he likes stalking....and spiking XD
  6. That article could probably do with a rewrite.
  7. I see what you two are doing, sacrificing the new guy to avoid getting spiked yourselves... I'm fairly sure that's against the rules.. TO THE SPIKEPIT!!
  8. Thanks so much Cuaiir you dont mind if I make them all into vector drawings do you?
  9. Well eventually, all this stuff will include citations and references, but I personally dont know where that info came from.
  10. well if you look at this page it gives a small overview of what each spike can do. I think the precise power you gain from the spike also depends on where it's placed, and maybe where it was spiked through.
  11. nothing major, other than 'the world wasn't destroyed' and the like. They are near enough separate worlds, though the magics are the same, and some character reappearances (Hoid for one, some of the more major characters of Mistborn)
  12. If you're logged into the coppermind, there'll be a link in the bottom box on the sidebar called Upload File. Select your file, make sure the destination filename is '<metal>_(feruchemy).<type>' and the summary is 'Drawing of the [[feruchemical]] symbol for [[<metal>]]' and then hit upload.
  13. Hey there Inky (you just got nicknamed ) great to have you here. I would warn you about Eric (Chaos) spikes, but you don't need any more, lol. Be sure to enjoy the eventual, spike encrusted, cookies
  14. ALL OF THE ABOVE, man these tee's are awesome XD
  15. Hey there Owayn, banning is a very serious business.... I should know, I've banned nearly 20k times since I joined the internets.
  16. That's certainly a novel concept, *enlightenment* Thanks And indeed, if anyone wishes to do this, feel free
  17. Just finished Codex Alera. It was pretty ok. I'd classify it as a mashup of Pokemon, Avatar the Last Airbender, and the Roman Empire, fighting a Last Battle (or Desolation) against a Mongol hoard of alien spider monsters. Its not as good as Dresden Files XD
  18. Hey there Windrunner, thanks for the contributions I think you sorted it yourself (or someone else sorted it for you), but basically it was because your <ref> tag was closed by a <references /> tag rather than a </ref> tag And thanks Zaz
  19. Yo Kurk, awesome work on the Alethi transliterator. I've come to offer my help, and was wondering if you will have some time to explain simply the steps your program takes. I am going to attempt to rewrite it in javascript, so that it can work on any page of text without needing java as a dependency. I'm also going to attempt a both-ways translation. It'd be awesome if I can pick y...

  20. Hey there selerian, a non-alcoholic physicist huh? You're gonna fit right in Watch out for Eric though, we're fairly sure he stalks people, and he has a thing for physics Thanks for your words on the Coppermind and as Zaz said, it'd be great if you feel like editing any time there might be prizes Joe
  21. or set up a blog for it, much like Child Bahkbar is doing for Well of Ascension.
  22. :D darn, now I'm going to have to think of one That's certainly an interesting way to come about an author, via TVTropes... lol, had you read any WoT before hand? I come back to you on the nickname
  23. DOH, of course I should've thought of fragment links for particular questions, silly me (considering I think I advocated such a solution >.>) *technojargon* the quickest way of making linkable tags (searches would automatically benefit from this) would be to change the form method from POST to GET. (though I dont see why the tags/etc were made as forms rather than just hyperlinks in the first place...) Thanks again
  24. AWESOME! what a brilliant data source, thank you so much One question, why can one not link to a tag? or a search result? or particular questions? is this kind of support planned? Also, I guess we're allowed to link to specific interviews/questions and copy for quoting purposes on our wikis and stuff? Thanks so much Terez and everyone else involved Joe
  25. If it's long enough it won't tip before its all over the chasm. Also I believe they try to cross at places where their chasm is slightly taller (its mentioned at some point iirc?) The gemhearts are not the same as the gems used in fabrials. The Alethi only found out about the Chasmfiends on the Shattered Plains due to the parshendi and Gavilar's adventures. We dont know how the parshendi know where the Chasmfiends are, but the Warcamps have scouting parties and spotting towers. Maybe some of the other camps, but you have to remember that Vorinism preaches the virtues of the Soldier as the most awesome of professions (unlike the Horneaters). Nights Dawn is AWESOME. but I agree with the lack of diversity. It is pretty hard to do that though, and still produce such awesome stories... Otherland is (in my sheltered opinion) better for diversity, and is also an awesome story XD.
