We're lynching you because, although you've lain low a lot of the game when people thought you were clear, I have spotted you browsing the current thread multiple times, and now, when you're under suspicion, you just pop up? Kinda weird. There's a bunch of other stuff too, from previous cycles, but this is the one that's really getting me rn. I mean, earlier I tagged you repeatedly, trying to get you to contribute to the game. But now, without prompting, you suddenly actually start responding to the thread? Very sus. -

...You know, this actually seems very Illwei: a pretty good plan that had to change, then Illwei gets confused about what to do, and does suspicious things. But yeah, Kyne's probably an elim. I'm like 75% sure. Imagine if the last elim is actually Elk though. That would be hilarious. Or me, I guess, but I don't quite see how that would work. -

...If Illwei did Narc me Imma officially blame the dice if the elims win. I've had absolutely awful luck ever since getting plannning. -

Double posting since I typed this up separately, thinking someone else would post, and I don't want to redo the spoilers. Sorry. So here we go: @Zillah, can you confirm what Elkanah has said? Either way, my secret.... You ready? KYNEDATH. PS: If I sound weird, that's because I just took my new-ish medication, as I take it in the morning, and so it's just kicked in. WHEEE!!! STIMULANTS!!! -

The reason it clears ash is that if this wasn't pointed out, we were making so many wrong assumptions, we would have FOR SURE lost. EDIT: Unless we got very lucky, I guess. Yeah, okay, Kynedath is probably an elim. This sets me off SO HARD. As for my reveal, well, I'll start working on the post. Have to rework all the implications... -

Either this is a really convoluted gambit, or Ash is cleared village now. Good job, Ash. Immediate implications: Suspects: Elkanah, Illwei(?), Kynedath, Silberfarben. Kynedath was only cleared because of the RB, and Illwei, while being somewhat cleared by other actions, was only really cleared because of the XP logic. Really hope Elkanah gets on quick. -

In that case, yeah, one more elim makes sense. Ugghh. @Elkanah, did you clear stuff up yet? Because I think, given that there's probably only one elim, that we could definitely use your help RN. -

Okay. So, should I hold off revealing things until we get everyone's actions back, or should I just spill the beans? -

@Ashbringer, did you lie? Just confirming something. -
Long Game 69: The Politics of the Passions
The Young Pyromancer replied to Zillah's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Unless Ash was lying about protecting me, and has now been waiting for me to call you out, a distinct possibility. Or it could be a GM mistake. But yeah, I'm suspicious of you for other reasons too, like how you've maintained 3 elims throughout the entire game, or how you have changed your opinions fairly easily when I've challenged you on them. Also, @Ashbringer, if you're lying about protecting me, please be honest. EDIT: Flame On! -

Did anyone counterclaim me getting caught? If they did, since only one person was caught in the writeup, I would be caught in a lie. So I'd say this is probably true. Here's my full action timeline: D1:Politicking N1:Connection, forgot to use D2:Politicking N2:Planning, message to TJ. Roleblocked, not by his death, but by something else. I checked. D3:Illegal, since I had planning and could maximize my chances of hitting something strong without having to up the chances of getting caught. N3: Got caught, Coersion, and Survival. Used Survival after trying to bait a RB or kill in-thread D4: Passionless due to being caught N4: Passionless. Secret thing happened. -

...Which is a RB, because I'm village, and have no actions other than passions? This looks REALLY elimmy. Why else would you point out that it's not a RB? Elkanah, for the moment. If they are, they aren't dead on the player list. @Zillah -

I have some info, but I'll hold off on it for a moment, because I want to get some more actions back first. I did not take an action myself, as I was caught last time, and so didn't get an action. So, action list: @Illwei: ? @Frozen Mint: ? @Kynedath: ? @Lord Silberfarben: (who it won't let me tag) ? Elkanah: saw Ash target me. Me: No action because was caught. Ash: Protected me. So, assuming that no one in the bottom three lied (which I am looking into, don't worry ), we have the elim kill narrowed down to the top 4. Kynedath could (probably) only be an elim if there's more than one elim, so we can set them aside until we find the other one (still would really like your action tho) -

Right, protection. I believe I should be protected, as Sart and I were the only ones that no one really expressed suspicion of, and Sart's inactive. Any objections? -

I mean, Silb isn't contributing much, but I feel fairly confident they're village. For Ash, I'd like to look back on whether their suspects are consistent. One of the reasons I'm not pushing an El lynch is because, while their views change a lot, the read lists themselves have a clear progression through them. El's good enough to fake this, but it still makes me hesitate. -

The accuracy. First, Experience. The XP suspicion hadn't blown up at that point yet, so not just making them a suspect, but placing them just after the outed elim is one bold play. Second read, null Third, village on Matrim. Says a gut read. Accurate. Fourth, fifth, sixth all null. Seventh, expressed that the earlier posts weren't super indicative, but that they claimed, so voted. I doubt an elim would have waffled like that. Rest of list, mostly irrelevant. The only two negative reads on that list were both of people who were elims. Not Lotus or me, who were also suspects at the time, and could have easily justified at least a 'slightly elim'. Mint is confusing, but this post is at least a decent indicator of villaginess. Also, this post from XP looks like an attempt to set up future suspicion of Lotus and mint upon their death. That also makes me consider them probably village. -
Long Game 69: The Politics of the Passions
The Young Pyromancer replied to Zillah's topic in Sanderson Elimination
The deception people have been pitching does NOT seem like the kind of thing Silber would do. I think it's highly unlikely for them to be an elim. Semi-inactivity is pretty normal for Silber. And Elk's a big suspicion for me. Actually, you know what? I just found this gem while looking through old posts. I know I'm going back and forth a bunch, but I still think Silber seems like an awful idea here. So Mist. If it comes down to it, I'll probably vote Ash, since I think Elk being lynched if village would put us at a big disadvantage, so they should be a 'last resort' of sorts. -
Long Game 69: The Politics of the Passions
The Young Pyromancer replied to Zillah's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Why are people voting Silber? I have seen NO decent explanation or reasoning. Kynedath can't be the last elim if we go by what Ash says. And Ash probably wouldn't reveal that if they were an elim. So... Mint? If there is only one elim left, they're doing a very good job of it. -

K. @Kynedath, there was a vig kill last night. Did you try to kill anyone? Redirects were flying around, so any info would be helpful.
