  1. So I was poking around and saw that at the top of each thread was a dropdown which reads "Showing all posts".  When you click on this drop down, you get the option of hiding posts which are made by people below a selected reputation threshhold.  Amazingly <to be said in an extraordinarily exagerated manner>, these thresholds correspond to the reputation rankings.  I then noticed that at the bottom of the list there was -100, -25, -20, -15, -10, -5, -2.  Well, -2 qualifies one for Negaspren, and -10 to -14 qualifies one for Hoed.  But, I have no idea what -5, -15, -20, -25, and -100 are.

I remember seeing that -25 to -100 was 'Rotting Chull Carcass'.  The name is kinda evil, but I imagine anyone with that level reputation has committed some terrible crimes against the Cosmere anyway :P

  2. At that point Sazed was already injured, while they'll be fresh out of the... wherever Skaa crews hang out :P

And don't forget: there's ten of them dude!  They wouldn't have to appreciate their own face getting bashed if they have nine others to back them up.

  3. 10 points - 10x Zinc Ferrings

A completely underused power in the series so far.  The only scene we see it used is Sazed vs Marsh where Sazed dodges an axe thrown by an Inquisitor, meaning the axe is probably moving pretty damnation fast.  Ten of these guys trained would be virtually impossible to handle - they could work out your every move before you could cause any damage.

  4. Let us end this discussion; you all know what is truly the greatest invention ever.

    Me.

You know it in your hearts to be true.

    thats questionable.

And my answer would be the book - whoever thought you could get so much stuff into one place?

  5. Could this mean that Yolen had been the ur-planet where Adanalsium was the only Shard.

    /Speculation:

And now it grows immoderate random and fantastic: (Premise: We don't know whether Yolen still exists ->) There was something like a Big Bang, Adanalsium was shattered into the different shards and Yolen was shattered into the different planets in the cosmere.

    /end of speculation

Ohh, when I read this I thought: "You should have known/remembered that." :-)

The Dragonsteel series continues post-shattering (the first two books take place while Adonalsium is still around), so it's fairly likely that Yolen is still around after the shattering. Still, I like the idea :)

  6. I'm from Warwickshire in the UK, but I've only lived here for about a year. I used to live in Birmingham, which is around 30 miles away from where I live now, and it's definitely a lot better here. I live in the countryside, so hardly anyone passes through here except for the people living in a few houses nearby. The bad thing here is that to see any friends I have to travel for miles, and no one can ever find where I live :D

  7. I believe, and please correct me if I am wrong, that as for living a long life, he is not the only one, and I believe that it is an effect of world hopping, as elantris takes place thousands? Of years before mistborn, yet fall galladon and demoux travel together to TWoK, which takes place hundreds of years later, so Hoid couldn't be the only one to do that

Supposedly, Galladon would live a long life because he's an Elantrian and it's theorised Demoux is compounding atium.
