It may have been heretical of him, but... "No. I don't trust Harmony enough to have full control of an Inquisitor. They're death incarnate. I didn't know any where left, other than Ironeyes himself. Even if you're staying here, I'm not. Maybe being on the other side of a door will keep me from being noticed." Saying so, he walked outside.

Aaron stood up and walked over to Eryn. "We should probably get out of here. At least go outside for a little bit. That thing," he nodded toward the Inquisitor, "could probably kill us all in half a heartbeat and and give it no more weight than a flake of copper. Being in range of that detonation is not something that would be good for our health." @Kingsdaughter613

Aaron Casimir sat watching the door, watching for the stray he'd picked up in the storm a few days past to come back and fingering his earring, sending a brief prayer to Harmony to help her find her way back to wherever she'd come from, and counted his daily prayers done. Some Pathians would remove their earrings after they were done. He was never much of one for that. Let Harmony witness him. That was his purpose - glory to Harmony in all things. A burden to bear, but his family had always and would always bear it. He'd do so gladly. He took a sip of... well he wasn't actually sure what it was called. No one seemed to have a name for it yet, but it came from New Seran on the distillery coaches roaming around. Shame there weren't any direct trains, but what can you do? Harmony set it up with Elendel at the middle and everything ringing out from it. Who were they to question it? Besides, he still got to drink this yellow sweet drink, so it was fine in his book. Specialists, the hiring man said he was looking for. Any inventor not able to make money off something like that wasn't worth the bits Harmony had used to make their flesh and soul. What was she doing out there? He hadn't been able to get a solid answer as to why she was in that blizzard in the first place, either. If someone had put her out there on purpose... there were going to be words. And probably fists. And maybe a knife. And maybe a branding iron. He'd see.

My money is on it being an escapee from Aimia's lancyrn population. Smart enough to stay out of the way of hunts, and definitely smart enough to accept tribute from the listeners.

Do y'all think someone could breed a rockbud into being carnivorous? Or that there are some? I had the sudden image of a rockbud's vines curling around the ankle of an unsuspecting creature and dragging it to the bud itself to be devoured.

If you could hack your way into that kind of Connection, the spren would probably be hurt a lot. It's the same thing keeping them from becoming both bow and arrow - splitting one spren into multiple is not healthy for the spren.
