  1. Granted, they are now due 2 weeks ago. I wish I had glassed that never got dirty.
  2. Granted, but your stormlight only recharges on the 29th of February and there is no such thing as spheres that you can use to store your stormlight for later use. I wish for 6 months of paid vacation.
  3. - Ok, so I guess firing it at targets miles away won't work as well, this is actually one of the things that isn't clear to me, just how far can a Spren travel from their bond? Since in the books it sometimes occurs that a Spren goes out to do something away from the radiant (i.e. following a person of interest) and the bond doesn't suffer. And does the same rules apply for a Spren in blade form than for a Spren in... uhh.. Spren form? And what about dead shard blades vs living blades, can you still lend your blade to someone else if its a living blade? - I believe the arrow getting trapped after the edge cutting through shouldn't be as much of a problem if the arrow is travelling fast enough. Although if your arrow does get trapped, you can just dismiss it and summon it again. - You can make a special kind of arrow with a extra wide head to make it easier to hit vital points. Even though it might not be as effective as I initially thought, i still think a couple of radiants with shard arrows (especially those not as capable with their blades) could be a force to reckon with, and I still think this could actually be more effective in killing "larger enemies" than a ordinary blade, since you have a greater chance of hitting vital points when you don't first have to cut them down to size and you can stay further away from danger. Also, the larger your foe, the smaller is the chance that they will be able to dodge your arrow. But this can also be applied to different ranged weapons, like javelins or throwing knives, both of which can be deadly considering the other properties of shard blades.
  4. I don't know if anyone thought of this before, but I'm new here and after reading OB I started thinking about this: As I understand, a spren bonded to you is able to take up any form of weapon that you prefer (I.e. a spear instead of a sword for Kaladin). So a theory I have is what if your weapon of choice is a bow and arrow? Can you not ask/will your spren to become a arrow and use it with a ordinary bow? That would basically give you a infinitely sharp arrow that can pierce through rock and armor like nothing, and after it hits a target you can dismiss your spren and summon it again in your hands, essentially giving you infinite ammo. Combine this with flying (i.e Windrunner) where it allows you to keep out of melee range, I think it would make for a pretty strong combination. And then if the fight gets up close and personal, you can always summon your spren as a ordinary blade again. As I understand it stormlight does not give you superhuman strength, shardplate, however, does increase strength. So if you combine shardplate and shardbow with a massive spren arrow, it will allow you to kill multiple enemies miles away with every single arrow you fire even through walls or buildings, and you don't have to worry about penetration drop off over range nor about carrying extra ammo. EDIT: And, no spoilers, a large ballista type seige weapon and a shard bolt to match it might even be able to take down "larger" enemies from a safe distance. (But this could maybe also be accomplished by just lashing a shard spear a couple of times toward your target, if that's even possible) I was just wondering if canon would allow for this.
