Not at all. But would you disagree that elims tend to be more reactive to pressure than villagers? A villager in this gamestate wouldn’t be overly concerned about eating an ML. We are ahead, we can afford it. This is an assured win one way or another the way I see it. An elim in this gamestate, however, has to work to survive and you seem like you’re posting to try and survive now. It’s a sudden change in your game play and you can’t expect it to not be pointed out?

That might’ve been you re:Hyena actually, but the point stands since you had a similar stance on Heron where you didn’t really have a read one way or another but expressed confusion on the train itself.

Two elims stacking on Iguana gave me cold feet there and rightly so given their green flip. My read on you as I’ve explained before comes down to 1) PoE, 2) The majority of your larger-looking posts presenting objective information rather than subjective analysis 3) You being on at rollover D3 but not voting now seems like a frozen elim not sure whether to bus the teammate or look bad wagoning the villager. Your posts from then feel like you were angling to vote Chameleon when they were a wagon but just didn’t know what to do when that wagon dissolved. I will point out you expressed doubt on the Heron wagon in that group PM as well so e!you couldn’t exactly vote there out of the blue either. All of this plus your non-reaction to Ostrich last cycle is sufficient for me. What do you make of Cham’s reaction to Ostrich then? They seemed extremely villagery there, it felt like Cham and I were on the same wavelength.

Yeah @Quartz Zebra you can shoot Swan. They’ve spent 5 cycles completely skating by pretending to be new to SE doing the minimum and display this sudden burst of analytical posting the moment you suggest possibly shooting them tonight. They were actively involved in 0 PM groups that I know of so they fit the mould of an excluded elim who would prioritise taking down the Tineyes to cut off village comms. Their reaction to Ostrich’s gambit was downright terrible in hindsight as well. Then you shouldn’t have a problem voting Albatross with me, yes?

Oh, makes sense. Yeah since Vulture was functionally a vanilla elim at that point I would have expected bussing but people to tend to freeze in high intensity EoDs. As I see it, if Alb is an elim they are probably not a Mistborn/a strong role though, or else they would have definitely voted on either of the other two trains for self preservation in my opinion. And yeah you definitely are not required to post in the thread to be able to submit actions, but it doesn’t matter since Lion was the one who soothed a vote off Vulture anyway.

I don’t understand why the elims targeted Zebra there or why Zebra targeted Iguana there after his claim - both those shots are suboptimal but I kind of am apathetic towards the game after the Ostrich thing so they’re now hilariously suboptimal. Albatross I think the entire remaining team is in Alb/Swan/Croc [Edit; and Kangaroo]

Sigh thought so. If I die tonight my one request is to give Swan a closer look because I now think there’s a good chance they are lying about being new.

I don't know man kill whoever Ostrich wanted dead. Rereading last turn I really dislike Iguana's reaction to Ostrich, though thinking back to D1 votes I just want Alb dead again.

Oh I don’t know. I’ve seen elims concede like that countless times and I’ve never seen a villager fake it… It also just made a lot of sense with two filter deaths and another incoming. I don’t know why or how I should have known it was fake when the circumstances kind of called for it. Why didn’t you vote Penguin there if you never believed it to begin with? I need to reset. Chameleon should 100% be a villager.

I also apparently really suck at reading Alb I think I misexe him every game we're in together, though I can say I didn't technically do it here. I voted Tuatara at one point so there's some redemption.

Honestly I think you had a chance if Elephant wasn't inactive; Mistborn with steel along with the vulture distancing wasn't a terrible spot to be in and you were posting well. Though I completely understand o7

Edit: It also objectively would have been the better move to consensually assume Zebra is v so that them potentially continually dodging NKs would have been more telling, whereas casting doubt this way invites elims to play the IKYK game and e!Zebra can later argue that they didn’t get NKd because they are a viable ML judging by thread opinion. Edit: If an e!Coinshot was going to shoot a teammate, one of the inactive members would have been a million times better given they were dying anyway. That’s free cred and they wouldn’t have had to waste two shots to get it. Edit: I don’t have a VC but I assume Albatross is leading. If Alb flips green I recommend Kangaroo for the coinshot target. If they flip red then I don’t really care who gets shot, any shot is probably good. Don’t shoot penguin.

This is interesting. Elims generally tend to want to keep PMs around because it’s easier to manipulate people at close range and a lot of info/role phishing takes place inside PM networks. I say it’s interesting because the Tineye NK points to a world where elims weren’t involved in any significant PM groups/networks and wanted to cut off village-centric communication. Obviously then there is the question of who knew Flamingo to be a Tineye. Flamingo had claimed to some that are known but he might have claimed to more that are not, and of course there is the e!Seeker who was provably online during at least N1. Flamingo is an odd kill by virtue of them not being too involved in the thread discussions even if they were decently village-read, so these are fair speculations to make but they don’t really get us anywhere. I’m a regular vanilla as well for what it’s worth.

It’s possible that e!Alb feels cornered and out of options, in a world where bandwagoning elsewhere would make them look opportunistic. Or maybe the other wagon options include a teammate and they don’t want to draw the proverbial line in the sand by choosing one of these wagons over the others?
