  1. No. I only talked to people I trusted pretty much completely. However, not everyone who voted on Swan is someone I talked to. I never talked to Opal, and I'm still unsure of Weasel. That's about it. I would appreciate not dying tonight, but I'm not going to get upset if I get targeted or killed. I took a gamble, it didn't work.
  2. He heard the highstorm coming. Jai had never gotten around to finding somewhere to stay. So, he stayed in the stables, with the chulls and horses and other beasts. He still had some infused spheres, although some of his other ones had gone dun. The infused ones he held out as he sat in the middle of the stables, listening to the storm rage outside. "I need to get out of here," whispered Jai. He saw shamespren collect around him, like falling petals. He let them fall. And, as the highstorm raged, he let himself remember how his parents died. A boulder through their room. He had been spared, for some reason. But his parents had been gone in an instant, for it had smashed through the storm protections. He felt guilty for surviving. Why them, and not him? Why had he even stayed here in the first place? There were no answers that came to mind.
  3. Jai looked at the bloody body. He had done this. He had protected his friend, who he was sure was innocent, from dying. But at what cost? Something broke within him, and he started to cry. Storms, he couldn't have them see him cry! So he ran. Ran away from the scene. Ran back to his alley. And still he wept, because now there was another orphan on the street and it was his fault.
  4. Well go ahead. I knew that was coming, but I do not feel like lynching someone who reflects strongly as village. If swan turns elim, i will be greatly relieved. If they don't... well that means most of my main suspects cleared out as probably not elim. So for now I'm just going to pray this risk I took actually pays off. Also, the reason it formed so quickly is because I've been discussion it in PMs. Coral seems to be regarded as suspicious by a fair bit of the village, so yeah I organized turning around the lynch. No, I'm not eliminator. Do you really think an eliminator would go to all this trouble? If I were elim, i would have bussed my team mate and been done with it. Instead I'm trying to trust people and it's stressing me out. Anyway, this cycle is about to end. So, yeah. I'm just going to hope for the best.
  5. axolotl Swan . Swan, you made me uber suspicious with your last post. I was going to hold out on trying to lynch you until day 3, but given Axolotl, I'm inclined to just go after you now. Axolotl, i shouldn't have said what I said when I voted. I apologize for my slightly self-righteousness. SE is not about making people feel like crap, it's about having fun.
  6. You're not wrong, i convinced albatross to prevent a lynch on Flamingo because I think he's village, due to what he said in his PM. Axolotl is far more suspicious than Flamingo.
  7. Well, first, I'm going to retract my vote from Onyx Flamingo after he gave me a very village vibe in my PM. Instead, I'm voting Axolotl , for voting on someone for possibly the stupidest reason I have ever seen in SE. Axolotl, you cannot tell me you think Chameleon is elim because of bolding in a vote count. That's utterly ridiculous.
  8. I'll address a couple things you probably missed. Double upvotes meant I wanted to upvote the GM post twice, once with each account. When someone mentioned PM safety, i assumed that meant there was a PM scanner, which I later acknowledged be an incorrect assumption (or at least I thought it in my head.) Poke votes are NOT redundant, and here you miss the point that I'm never intending to lynch someone with a poke vote. It's meant to get them active, provide a small threat. Then I started focusing on minimal activity people, who cannot be solved by pinch hitters, because they post enough to avoid the filter, and nothing more. As for the edgedancer thing, i also acknowledged the flaw in asking for edgedancers to claim. I realized that not long after posting, but by then it had already been pointed out. And as for Iguanas death, those reactions were due to Orlok telling us the wrong role twice before he told us what their role actually was. He edited those, so you wouldn't see it by looking back. Chameleon, i thought I had something, but then looking back showed that they were right and I had misremembered how that played out. Also, see how my poke vote on Plum Rhino did exactly what it was supposed to do- got them to post. And then I retracted it. That is what I've been spending most of my time on, bringing inactives back. Speaking of which, @Emerald Falcon I haven't seen you in a while.
  9. Ok, we have about 7 hours left until this day is over and we don't have a solid lynch. I don't love it, but Onyx Flamingo . Losing a lynch is not an acceptable option. @Plum Rhinoceros the reason we need to lynch people is because that is our main way to kill eliminators and amass information. It's not perfect, and we do have roles, but roles are NOT perfect. Lynches also provide information in who wants to kill who, which can be analyzed to figure out which people are voting suspiciously. The elims have the night kill, we have the lynch. That's how the game works.
  10. I had more stuff to say, but I'm tired, so for now I'll say this-my reason for voting on Chameleon was wrong, i misremembered how that played out, so I'm retracting my suspicions. Less actives, please contribute anything you can. I feel like that's been what I've repeated many times, but seriously, the more villagers we have active, the better. But if you're an elim, feel free to drift into inactivity.
  11. Jai gave a weird look at all the people who were looking at him. They expected him to give them something useful? He had just taken one persons sandwich, and they hadn't even noticed, so focused they were on determining who to kill. Several people looked shifty, but honestly Jai was really just trying to shove other people to do the work. As long as he didn't die, did he really care? Something twisted in his gut, and he knew he was lying to himself. He did care, just a little. But not enough to not swipe that bowl of soup that had been abandoned.
  12. I thought I made my reasoning pretty clear, i thought it was more likely that Swan was village than Dingo. I mean, i might be wrong. I might be wrong about Chameleon as well. But for the moment, i need to go plum Rhino . You answered my PM, but have not posted in thread. I do not want to lynch you, but could @Plum Rhinoceros please participate? again, this is merely merely a poke vote while I try to find an actual lynch candidate. Also, i want to address a common issue less actives have been expressing: names and number of people. A spread sheet is great, but not everyone has time to write in detail. So, i stress the idea of writing brief notes. It's ok to rely on more active villagers for deeper analysis. But your notes can provide new perspectives for us to better find eliminators, so we can be the first AG village to win, ever.
  13. the thing that threw me off was not a vote count, but how people were like "Where is chameleon" and suddenly a vote count! It felt like an "Oh shoot well I better do something". However, I am considering other candidates. We won't really know whether the dustbringer is village or not until they die or if they kill an eliminator.
  14. Beagles are generally fluffy, so yeah. I don't think I've been as precise in this game, mainly because I've been spending a lot more time trying to get people active. As for Chameleon, I'm going to keep my vote on them for the moment, while I go back again and take another look. I don't really like the lynch candidates right now, so I'll take a look for myself and try again. Ok, as for the day one lynch, how was i supposed to know Dingo was villager? He was hardly contributing, i reasoned it made sense that elims might hide there. I also decided I thought Swan was a villager. So that's why I voted on dingo. And as for "I hope everything goes well," thats me hoping I don't get stabbed by the elims night one, which has happened before, to my great annoyance.
  15. I'll start off the day's voting with Pearl Chameleon. I am suspicious of them due to how they reacted to several accusations during day one, especially one regarding how they were lurking and within a few minute- poof, vote count. And then the thing that really set my bells off was when they said that they were happy with the amount of discussion in day 1. That just feels... off to me, especially given that chameleon hardly contributed anything to the discussion.
  16. Great. Sadly, I would also be more easily convinced that if we have any more edgedancers, they may be elim. Gah.
  17. And another edgedancer bites the dust... *facepalm*. Seriously, can we not kill any more edgedancers? If there are even any more left????
  18. Nights tend to be more quiet due to not being much to do, for those who don't have night roles, who are not exactly inclined to share in-thread. I hope everything goes well tonight.
  19. Jai was settling down for the night in a new alleyway when he heard their voices. The Boys. Storms. How had they found him? "Jai, we know you're in there. It's going to be cold tonight, we have an open bed and a warm meal," called one of the two brothers. Always pretending to be generous, always giving away the Boys were. Jai hated that. He knew if he accepted their "kindness," he would need to do something for them. And Jai was beholden to no one, no body. They entered the alley, proffering a bowl of stew. Stew? That was a low blow. Jai loved stew. But, he remained quiet, trying to remain unnoticed against the wall. Sure enough, they had been bluffing him. They walked out of the alley, not seeing him, moving on to presumably try another one to draw him out. Fools. Alone at last, Jai pulled out one of the spheres he had stolen. He couldn't use them, people immediately knew he had stolen them. But if he collected enough, perhaps when he finally got off this mountain, he could use them to make a new life for himself. He reflected upon the afternoon. Instead of finding someone to shelter with, the entire village had moved to the inn and had drawn him into joining a massacre of a radiant! He had to get out of here. Maybe after the next highstorm, soon as he found shelter. Descending the mountain wouldn't be easy, but escaping this stifling village constantly trying to mother him like a chicken would be worth it.
