  1. I completely agree. While we need to lynch Weasel again, we should all get our thoughts on a couple of other players out in case we are killed during the coming night. Of course having said that, I'm not going to be giving reads but rather will be using my new system. Sorry? Zebra and Mouse are my top two suspects after Weasel and both are dependent on how he flips. If Weasel is Elim then there is a 79% chance that Mouse is also Elim while Zebra drops to 56% from 66%. Conversely, if Weasel is Village, which I really don't see, then Zebra is 81% chance of being Elim while Mouse drops to 58% from 64%. I was hoping to give a better result this cycle but Weasel is my test case and I can't give proper results until I have some results. Unfortunately, Rhino was already listed as Village in my system (92% Village) so even he's death doesn't help me out.
  2. Hmm, most irritating. I had hoped that Weasel would be dead so I could know if my system is working properly but it seems I will have to wait a bit longer to find out.
  3. Names should make little difference. The point of anonymous accounts is that there are no preconceived notions of activity or past game usefulness. It's a blank slate for everyone. And I find it refreshing. As for activity, we can help that along by voting early in the cycle. Even if it has little to back it up. I'll start. My new voting system has revealed to me that there is a 87% chance that Weasel is an elim. I'm not going to explain why as that would contaminate following cycles information. This is how I will be doing all my votes so don't expect anything more.
  4. For me, the Elims are a team and they should be more than capable of continuing on if one of them dies. As a villager however, we are a group of individuals so losing one is always a blow.
  5. My post was meant to be sarcastic. Clearly an elim wouldn't point out that they have been flying under the radar so blatantly. Not unless they are very secure in them not being lynched/killed. Maybe I should've added a smiley. I have had some limited experience being evil and while being an elim was stressful, being lynched wasn't. It felt like a weight was lifted. I find it far more plausible that a villger has more stress on them when being lynched as they know they are innocent and really want to help the village. Edit: As for my suspicions, Weasel, Mouse and Zebra are my top three/
  6. This post just screams Elim. Think about it. What kind of villager would want to be looked at? Clearly Heron is evil and should be lynched immediately.
  7. Not Alignment Indicative. Personally, I never read anything as NAI as everything someone says reveals something if you know where to look. For the most part NAI is used in that a post or poster isn't giving away information that reveals that they know more than they should. Heh, if I wanted to deflect attention then I wouldn't have voted at all. As for my new voting system, it's a fun one. And that's what this game is about isn't it? Fun.
  8. It's true, I haven't said much of substance. I'm trialing a new method for my votes and it's taking some time to hammer out the details. You won't get any substance from me as that would interfere with my new method. Sorry. Meerkat has been on my mind for the past couple of cycles but so has Octopus but they are dead so I really can't fathom why. The Meerkat lynch feels different than the Tuatara one last day cycle so I'm happy to vote for them. Or crocodile. Both feel the same so I'm happy with either one.
  9. Day 1 Votes: [Blue = Dead Village] Melon Dingo (6): Salmon Meerkat, Oxblood Beagle, Ivory Dragonfly, Pearl Chameleon, Emerald Falcon, Mauve Crocodile Amethyst Scorpion (3): Cream Tuatara, Charcoal Hyena, Magenta Albatross Chartreuse Penguin (2): Amethyst Scorpion, Saffron Iguana Azure Mouse (1): Melon Dingo Coral Swan (1): Quartz Zebra, Taupe Gecko Indigo Weasel (1): Fuchsia Ostrich Salmon Meerkat (1): Sunburst Toucan Violet Axolotl (1): Coral Swan Day 2 Votes: Coral Swan (5): Oxblood Beagle, Onyx Flamingo, Opal Lion, Magenta Albatross, Sapphire Elephant, Indigo Weasel Onyx Flamingo (2): Coral Swan, Plum Rhinoceros Indigo Weasel (1): Amethyst Scorpion Mint Heron (1): Ivory Dragonfly Pearl Chameleon (1): Violet Axolotl Taupe Gecko (1): Sage Kangaroo Day 3 Votes: Cream Tuatara (7): Amber Vulture, Amethyst Scorpion, Onyx Flamingo, Ivory Dragonfly, Sunburst Toucan, Mauve Crocodile, Sapphire Elephant Oxblood Beagle (4): Mint Heron, Turquoise Gorilla, Azure Mouse, Indigo Weasel Onyx Flamingo (3): Sage Kangaroo, Quartz Zebra, Taupe Gecko Amber Vulture (2): Chartreuse Penguin, Magenta Albatross Dragonfly, Albatross and Scorpion are the only, living, players to have voted in each lynch so far. I have no idea if it means anything but it's something that I feel should be pointed out. I was hoping to find one person that joined in every successful lynch but alas. If someone can see a pattern of something, please speak up as I got nothing.
  10. Votes Tuatara : Dragonfly, Beagle, Vulture, Scorpion, Elephant, Toucan, Vulture (7) Vulture : Penguin, Albatross (2) Beagle : Heron, Weasel, Mouse (3) Flamingo : Gecko, Kangaroo, Tuatara, Zebra, Crocodile (5) I'm still not feeling the Tuatara lynch but I trust Flamingo more. I'm not going to vote this round. (Yes, yes, I know this will make me look suspicious but I don't care. If I don't feel a lynch, I don't vote.)
  11. I have no intention of derailing any lynch, just stating my thoughts on the matter. By all means, keep an eye on me. It won't help you, but if it's what you want....
  12. Votes Tuatara : Dragonfly, Beagle, Vulture, Scorpion (4) Vulture : Penguin, Flamingo (2) Beagle : Kangaroo, Tuatara (2) Ostrich : Zebra (1) Meerkat : Gorilla (1) I'm not sure where or even if I will place a vote this round but the Tuatara lynch seems a little convenient to me. Can't really say why, just feels off.
  13. It's entirely possible that they have been replaced as it isn't announced when a pinch hitter takes over from an inactive.
  14. 2 Edgedancer messages but only one dead Edgedancer and PMs are gone. So it looks like a Worldhopper had Edgedancer powers for the night. Hopefully they will get it again soon. Or another Worldhopper gets it.
  15. Axo lounged on a sunken log under the water letting the rivers current wash over it. It munched idly on a piece of salmon as it listened to all the chatter of the ground dwellers above it. Despite how it looked Axo wasn't really a viole(n)t creature. Much better if we all just get along together.
  16. Sorry, I really shouldn't post when I'm emotional. I'm probably going to try to get a pinch hitter.
  17. I. I am an idiot. I am an idiot. I am an idiot. I aM an iDiOT. I AM AN IDIOT. Am. How many games of SE do I have to play before I realize that I STILL HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M STORMING DOING. Very. IT JUST STORMING STUCK OUT TO ME WHY DID I STORMING POST WHEN I'M THIS SLEEP-DEPRIVED. Tired. Answer: because I'm always this sleep-deprived. And. Please go ahead and kill me so I can focus on my schoolwork kthx. Stressed. Oh, and I completely forgot about my vote on Pearl D1. Oops. Well, sorry about that, I'll just go self-destruct right now. Please. Honestly, did I really think I could get back into SE like this? Kill. This is why I stopped playing in the first place: because it obviously causes me an inordinate amount of stress. Me. To more sufficiently describe my reasoning, my mind tends to catch on to small details that I can actually recognize, and in a game of SE, attributes it to malicious intent. It was the only distinguishing aspect that I saw, and so my feeble brain, wanting to finally, FINALLY, be helpful for once, said that that would be the best thing to use for reasoning in this scenario. My apologies, Pearl Chameleon. *sigh* I haven't felt like this since that one thing happened that was named after me and went on to be a logical fault in a number of SE games that followed, from what I hear. As far as my legacy goes, that sounds accurate enough.
  18. While part of me agrees with the idea of going after barely active players, I think it's more likely that the elims are among the more active players. Having a special role naturally leads to higher investment in the game. As such, I doubt the elims are going to stick to the sidelines. *crosses fingers that I don't get lynched for trying to contribute to discussion* Problem is, as much as I would like to, I simply don't have the time to analyze every post. I'm going to tentatively put my vote on Pearl Chameleon, mainly because the way they bolded the vote count D1 seemed a tad misleading to me. In short, they bolded everyone tied with two votes, while doing nothing to emphasize the one person accused with three votes. Was that intentional or accidental, @Pearl Chameleon?
  19. Honestly, it was mainly gut suspicion. To be fair, your response to my vote seemed a lot more village than your other posts did, at least to me. That, and I'm not very good at explaining things whatsoever, which usually gets me killed in these games. I also didn't quite understand your suspicion of Gecko, though a retaliatory vote is a very instinctive response. I'm not entirely sure where you fall as far as experience goes, but I remember doing that a lot in the first few games I played. Is that sufficient evidence for a Day 1 vote where no one has any information? ... and you're probably going to lynch me for this, aren't you? Fine. Go ahead. See if I care. It's not like that happens every time I'm actually active. Oh wait...
  20. Same here as far as activity goes. For some reason, I thought nights didn't count for that. My apologies. I'll look over everything some time soon and present my analysis then. I don't think I can add anything that hasn't already been presented at the moment.
  21. I didn't immediately retract my vote on Swan, because the way Swan's post was worded, I thought it would just lead into a spiral of votes and retractions to keep it tied or not tied. I was suspicious of Swan for a lot of the same reasons Salmon Meerkat was, but Dingo seems to be a better choice for the Day 1 lynch. From what I gather, the argument against them is more about them being minimally active and not so much initial impressions from posts, which seems a bit more logically sound. I'll at least take my vote off of Coral Swan for the time being.
  22. Fair enough, Elyle. I understand your concerns about random chance. However, at the time, it seemed like either a 50% chance to kill someone I actually suspect of being an eliminator versus the guaranteed death of someone I feel is a villager. Granted, you know your alignment; I don't. But with the limited impressions that I've gathered so far, I would rather let the dice decide than let someone I have no reason to believe is guilty die.
  23. Pearl Chameleon I'm also against the Gecko lynch. Their behaviour just doesn't seem like something an eliminator would do, and I really don't want to go down the rabbit hole of IKYK. So... I'm going to put a vote on Coral Swan/Elyle. They seem the most suspicious to me at the moment, and I want to maintain a tied vote.
  24. Personally, I'd prefer no one be lynched on day 1, but that doesn't seem to be happening. *sigh* Ivory Dragonfly at least feels like village to me at the moment, but I really don't want to add to a lynch train on Coral. I'll tentatively put my vote on Pearl Chameleon, as they did actually post at the beginning of the game, but haven't contributed anything more since. @Pearl Chameleon
  25. I think the vote count right now looks something like: Swan(0): Tuatara Meerkat(0): Ostrich Weasel(2): gecko, Ostrich Penguin(1): Beagle mouse(1): Dingo Dingo(1): Tuatara, Scorpion, Falcon Elephant(1): Hyena Axolotl(0): Dragonfly Scorpion(1): Tuatara Octopus(0): kangoroo, octopus, Gecko corocodile(1): gorilla Vulture(1): Scorpion Gecko(2): Kangoroo, Dragonfly Dragonfly(1): Swan Edit 3: I forgot about a rule and have removed the offending white text. Now to make my own encoder. Let me know if I missed anything, but at the moment Gecko is being lynched. Edit: Dragonfly, we're happy to have you here, experienced or not. Edit 2: Updated with Ostrich's vote.
