  1. I think it's pretty safe to say Odium's Champions don't have excessive vote manip otherwise they would have used it, especially D1. Ninja'd by Dragonfly but I don't know what they said. Edit: Dragonfly, that's pretty much why I posted my to-be post this turn. I could have just not bothered, and not a soul would have known. But I hope it can shine a light on me in some good way Adonalsium knows my old soul needs it.
  2. I've already said this, and I don't want to continue the trope of a forgetful repetitive old man, but I also would like this. We're both on the Rosharan system and to be honest I find it likely that we'll both be attacked, one by Odium and one by an Investee. Protectors, you have targets now.
  3. I've finally finished my ISO of Mauve Crocodile. My aged hands are cramped, I hope this was worth it. Overall, I find a Croc-Gorilla-Gecko team very possible, though maybe a bit... too good to be true? I almost don't want to believe it and go running with it because seriously, how often to D1 team comp predictions turn out right? But I would have to go with it. They have been linked from the beginning, back before any of them were ever in danger of getting exed and it would have been safe to have a common opinion. I don't doubt that the other OC's, if this comp is correct, were very distanced. In fact, I have a bad feeling about Mint Heron, but that truly is just my paranoia. If I'm dead next cycle, look into them. I don't doubt they'd bus Gecko.
  4. Ignore it until Day. It was meant to be posted in case I died, as a 'here's what might have happened' but now probably is useless anyway because Odium & Co. likely aren't going to ignore it like I ask. So it's meant to be seen tomorrow, but it won't be as useful as it might have been.
  5. Brilliant. Just brilliant. Edit: I don't suppose I can hide that post and repost it tomorrow?
  6. ^Ignore that. Please ignore that... mistake... nothing in that matters now...
  7. MYy t rreemorss are teerfrribble iIMme SSorrrfy im OOold Waaaaiitti a fjIII LI I got it s usujnder conyntrol Grerrrr4rrrr AgaghgghhhAhememmm Huuuuuh ...Hello? I think I'm better now. The tremors strike me in the worst times. Just stopping by to ask for protection. I figure if I'm trembling something's about to happen, and Odium & Co targeting me fits well. So please and thank you.
  8. I mean... yeah I definitely can see your point. And I didn't entirely overlook it, but part of me wanted more of rules analysis and personal thoughts instead of more of the overview I now see you gave. So I offer apologies, and hope you don't think I'm discounting your effort. It's just much easier for people to notice rules commentary not in prose, like Dingo said.
  9. Everyone knew Croc had an extra vote, they ccllcaiaimedo BBraize inn-threrad Ssosorrtr myy shakkes hahave rrettunred inn fcorce.
  10. You sound as if you missed that I already said this. Go to my first post of the turn for further explanation.
  11. I will now attempt to use my years of wisdom to ISO the voters of Kangaroo, those being Gorilla, Crocodile, Hyena, and Gecko. Beware of text. @Turquoise Gorilla: Overall Read: Slight Odium's Champion. Will watch closely and hopefully keep an open mind. TL;DR: May be overstating how much they misunderstood my vote on them. Defensive about something I agreed with, but apparently didn't know I agreed with it. Might have requested a PM with Crocodile as a form of distancing. @Charcoal Hyena: (I'm not going to copy-paste their whole posts, even in spoiler boxes, but I will link them.) Overall Read: Slight Good, but a caveat of still voted Kangaroo over Croc, and said that blatantly. I rate them as good largely because I think the other Roo voters are more evil. TL;DR: Nice poems, not super helpful rule-wise though. Blatantly chose Roo over Croc, perhaps too forward for e/e, but because Croc was a Forger a defense this large is more likely than if Croc was vanilla. @Taupe Gecko: Overall Read: Slight Odium's Champion, they only had two posts that were of relevance and both tie them to suspect/confirmed evils. TL;DR: Defended Gorilla, voted against Croc but also added that they feel bad about them- safety net for the possible flip, maybe? And I'm tired of ISOing so I'll do Croc later today. I think these three are the most important as they're the ones alive. One more thing though: I tentatively disagree with this. Elephant has been quite active and has made some good points regarding a lot of things. I don't think their retraction is super evil. Perhaps because I myself was about to do the very same thing as they did- that is switch off of Croc onto someone with no votes currently, and only didn't because I was distracted and forgot to send the post in time, thankfully. Though that in itself is enough for me to glance over Elephant's retraction.
  12. There are two others with me on Roshar. Neither of them are very talkative there or here.
  13. My mistake, and edited soon. Blame my slow mind. Seconded. Other Braizians, I very much doubt there'd be two evils on Braize, so coming forth would be appreciated.
  14. That would be Croc's Braize vote. I'm nearly sure there are at least one of Odium's Champions on your train, perhaps two. There also might be one on Crocodile, though that's less likely for obvious reasons. When I reread D1 with the other Kangaroo voters in mind, I'll let you all know what my fizzled brain comes up with.
  15. 0_o Never have I been so fortunate to have a failing memory. I'll tell you a fun story... I hope it doesn't lessen opinions of me. My honesty maybe will help that. Ahem. I wrote up a post this morning, a few minutes before rollover. I didn't know at the time how close the cycle was to ending, I had forgotten the hour. I'm both embarrassed that I forgot to send it and embarrassed of what it contained. Here it is, saved by copy-paste and unedited from where it sat prior to rollover: Ah yes, that was the instant face value of what you said. Your vote makes sense, and upon initially hearing it my frustratingly slow and old processors went 'Oh yeah!' but then I reread Kangaroo's post and yours and changed my mind. Yes, your vote makes sense, but perhaps a bit too much sense. I don't necessarily think you're of Odium for it now, though. (Post by Crocodile) I flat-out said my vote wasn't because of your vote. I understand I had a cough yesterday, but does anyone actually listen to me? Go read that post again and come back. Granted, at this point my vote is more because I don't want Kangaroo gone. My old man's memory can't recall what I said regarding my vote (I think it was actually the jump on Kanga) but as you're now claiming it was in an act of self preservation... Crocodile. If you're being unlawfully slain in your first for a misunderstood jump, I don't want to participate in it. Strange how quickly I can feel defensive of you. I've always liked kids, and I suppose you're all that to me. Leaving my vote on Hyena, because of their jump on Kanga (I've got my blurry eyes on you, Gecko) and partially because of the distracting feature of their poetry, but C1 that isn't a cause for concern. My vote, I note, is uselessly single. Like me... I had a wife, you know, but she passed ages ago. Maybe I'll finish my life story someday for you all. I'll leave that here. My hands haaavee devveelloped a sudden tremmorr ffaoor hhow cclose thha t wass. I'll look at the votes later, that analysis is coming.
  16. *cough* *cough* I see. Forgive my ill memory *cough* I bid you a good night's sleep. *cough*
  17. ...The Shards are *cough* are just roles. Statistically there will be much *cough* more village aligned Shards. Of course they'd side with *cough* themselves.
  18. Well! *cough* I'm aghast! @Prudence, have you *cough* really ignored my requests so? Just a poor old *cough* man wanting discussion with a drunk elephant and a coral swan
  19. Explain to this wizened old *cough* fellow how you've conversed when the rules clearly state *cough*: As it is still *cough* the thick of the first day, outside conversings aren't possible. *cough* I assume the actions and items that can create private *cough* conversations are in fact actions which resolve end of *cough* turn, so unless you both happen to *cough* be on Silverlight- *cough* making Croc's Braize claim invalid- I smell a lie. *cough* Edit: Or I *cough* read the Shadesmar message rules *cough* wrong.
  20. First, *cough* Penguin, please. Thanks. *cough* Second, Crocodile, *cough* you just *cough did literally the exact reason I *cough* voted Gorilla. But since I'm a bit more *cough* lax and cooled off on *cough* them, this point isn't as strong. Gorilla. For *cough* now. Third, Crocodile. I don't recall what *cough* the first vote on you was, but the *cough* second was definitely not from past *cough* grudges. At least not totally. *cough* Suffice it to say, this *cough* vote is not because of yours. Fourth, I have a village read *cough* on Kangaroo despite the *cough* question. Something, maybe experience, tells me Odium's chosen *cough* wouldn't be so obvious. I'm wary of all jumping on *cough* that train, hence my vote on Croc. Hyena doesn't look good to me *cough* either, what with the huge poem fillers with no *cough* game-relevant information, and that added to their vote. *cough*. ...It is my *cough* dearest hope that this *cough* blasted cough is gone in the *cough* morning. Edit: Whoops, just realized *cough* I was quoted by @Charcoal Hyena. I still fail to see *cough* how the poems are actionwise rule specific as opposed *cough* to a mantra of Shardic Intent. They don't seem to correspond with the actions in the least. *cough* That said, I do enjoy them. That part wasn't a lie. And *cough* ninja'd.
  21. Hey all, just the *cough* friendly old man who's trying to execute *cough* Odium. It's almost night time, and night time is *cough* when sleeping occurs. The votes thus far are *cough* pretty spread out, and for a 27 strong *cough* player list there a lot *cough* of them to begin with. So if @everyone can *cough* take a look and condense a tad, it'd make me *cough* rest easier. I believe there is an unusual amount of *cough* vote manip, and I've around long enough *cough* to know that leaving it this close can *cough* only bring bad things. *cough* Also, I find it disappointing *cough* how many people have stuck to *cough* only telling their stories, and narrating their *cough* lives instead of focusing on the *cough* matter at hand. That's a very easy way for those of *cough* Odium to blend in, which I have *cough* no doubt they're doing. So while all that *cough* is funsies, this old man *cough* wants a more organized exe-*cough*-cution
  22. The attempt would *cough* be most welcome. Provided you *cough* take a sip yourself first, that *cough* is. I'm a paranoid old *cough* man.
  23. I don't want *cough* one. It wouldn't be genuine, and *cough* the conversation is among the only we have. This blasted *cough* cough! Does anyone have a remedy? *cough*
  24. My *cough* intent was not to brand the vote style and *cough* discount votes. I apologize if it came *cough* across that way. Perhaps my thoughts were a tad *cough* meta for you bunch, but it seemed to me *cough* that Gorilla was an Odium-lover *cough* who saw an easy vote. But I suppose it easily *cough* could have been what they claimed, and I'd have more to think on *cough* if they'd talk more about other things. Edit: Also, I think *cough* that you're over stating how much 'hasty' was used in *cough* my reasoning. *cough* This sounds like *cough* my original vote on Scorpion, one based off a past *cough* grudge and not evidence from now. *cough* Especially strange considering you seem to be *cough* agreeing with Croc in a way. Why jump on this *cough* vote?
